Don't post on here much anymore....so many haters on repeat!
I've had nothing but positive results from GPS and Heisen, and I'm not a flash in the pan grower.
Been growing GPS gear for ten years with great results!!
So hate on this people.....

That guy deserves every bit of hate that he sees.

after running 14 GP strains x2 or x3 (if regular) since last May, I can unequivocally say that they are extremely OVERrated.

no terps to speak of (most 'odorless' weed I've ran in years), and they love the PM, during a time of the year that I've *never* had PM going back 15 years.

only *one* pheno that I'd like to run again, for sure.

buyer beware.

Have grown GPS for a few years and have had top shelf.
The latest genetics are serious The smell is dank. Sticky is not the word. The bloke doing this knows his shirt, for facts. 40 yrs growing I know my ditch weed.
Platinum Ice at 60 days of flower. The pictures speak for themselves.

Lol so much hate towards GP from some. Probably half of it is because the grower botched their run and couldn't handle accepting the fact it was on themselves so it's easier to just blame whoever the seeds came from. Won't say breeders don't let out things they shouldn't sometimes because they do. Any breeder/distributor ya read reviews on has their negative. Always will be that way. Hell people used to say subcools super soil wasn't any good too. :wall::wall:

I've grown a couple, it is one of their better fem offerings imo. Corey seems to dominate the cross a bit. FYI, you can buy the Corey cut pretty easily.
I think he used Kate for awhile, but I could be wrong. Or just another Stardawg female. Some of those crosses would have been better if Corey was involved. You get more color from Kate, but it’s just not as potent as Corey, imho

Absolutely fantastic great beans.

I guess if you like small flowers....

took a few pics tonight taking down an old Romulan cut, and some Black Cherry Punch (ones I've ran for years), and Diamond Cookies and Cookie Dawg (GP)

to say that the differences between mine and the GP varieties are stark would be quite the understatement

if I get an oz. per out of the GP ones, it'll be a miracle.

the Romulan will probably clock in at 3oz., and the BCP between 1.5-1.75.

all 4 went into flower 63 days ago (there's more coming).

I will say this much off the bat, the DC is one of the handful (out of nearly 30) GP strains that has a smell.

and it smells like....oranges.

one of my ***least favorite*** phenotypes is orange (other than my Orange Octane cut, as the fuel overrides the orange)

point being: where in this description does it say anything about oranges, much less *citrus**???

DiamondCookies.PNG

simply put, I have to question if the seeds received are what I thought I purchased, as in addition to the fraudulent smell, the *appearance* of the DC is nothing like the pictures on the site:

site photo:

diamondcookies2.PNG

the Diamond Cookies I have (my phone cam sucks, but you get the idea:

DCC.PNG

*no* purpling, at all (which nearly all the DC pix have)

this pic here (again, my cam sucks) is my Romulan on the left, and Cookie Dawg on the right:

RomRom.PNG

this is a pic of the yield of Romulan and Diamond Cookies, side-by-side: (Romulan on the left, note that the box is not only bigger, but *much* more full)

RomRom2.PNG

and here's a pic of the top 10 inches of the Romulan next to the top 10 inches of Diamond Cookies:

RomRom4.PNG

so, as you can see, Diamond Cookies (and Cookie Dawg) are basically low-yield reggie, offering up but a fraction of what the ol' Romulan does.

or Mac. or Orange Octane, or Snow Monster, or Durban Poison, or about 90% of what I grow (I've held onto a few low yield strains over the years, but it's due to quality that GP just does. not. have.)

GP might have been good for me 15 years ago when I was just starting out, didn't know much, and wanted an odorless stealth grow...but I've moved a bit beyond such a low bar since then.

no, I don't like GP because (off the top of my head):

1. the flowers, for the most part have little to no odor
2. the yield is sub par
3. the products never look like the picture
4. they are prone to powdery mildew
5. the claim of feminized being 99% female is utterly laughable, as I got a straight male (Alien Punch) and several herms (Grape Jelly, Sticky Icky, Bubbles, Cookie Breath). and that's out of 26 seeds, as while I started 32, 6 of them were regular (Texas Butter, Sundance Kid x3)

all of these claims are in comparison to the other 50+ strains I run

really looking forward to the upcoming 7 East Genetics run, as they really seem to know their stuff. better prices (about $2-3 per seed with the exchange rate, and when you buy the minimum of 5 at $6.50 CAD, they send 8 to 11 of each seed), and seemingly better genetics, though I won't know for sure here for a few months, the initial growth and appearance of the small plants looks dynamite so far.

Well I grow for the love of the plant and I believe that’s why I have better luck than others when it comes to any breeders (with good genetics) I use in my garden.. but any ways here’s some some purple cake 4 weeks and some days pop 1 seed and got this jewel, she’s got a fruity creamy earthy aroma to her :hump: IMG_0449.jpegIMG_0448.jpegIMG_0450.jpeg
