One reason the bigger buds may have dried faster on the outside than the smaller nugs may have something to do with the bigger buds have no sugar leaves or fan leaves attached to them. The smaller nugs have all of leaves still attached
Nope, no fan used in the drying process. The only fan I have running in the tent is the extractor fan that may have resulted in the dryness in the buds!
The only reasonable explanation is that the bigger buds mostly on the upper side, like maybe half way up is that they have no sugar leaves or fan leaves which may have speeded up the drying process on those areas. Cause the parts that have the fan leaves and sugar leaves still attached are still quite moist. I am gonna buy a wood moisture meter tomorrow and check the humidity in the buds and the stems
No more than the buds have no leafs on them. But stems are really soft and the inner parts of the buds are really soft, they felt pretty moist to the touch
An auto flower is a cannabis plant just like a photoperiod. They are identical other than the fact that one doesn't need a long dark cycle to initiate flowering. They grow, flower and ripen the same way any other plant would. There is no difference.

My dry time varies from about 7 days to 10 days to 2 weeks. Depends on how much wet trim I do, the size of the branches cut, and ambient conditions. Most important part is not speed drying in 3 days and not over drying before cure.
We smoke a lot of really good pot around here.
