That's why they call them auto flowers. Day length is irrelevant. Using 24/0 or 20/4, or even 18/6, will get you more growth/yield.

Not that I'm aware of, other than your power bill! Although cannabis does not require a "Rest Period" I'd still give them 4 hours of dark a day.

I let my sleep it seemed wrong to me lol, I can smell when the lights go on and off. Just my personal preference

That would be implying that growing under any grow light breaks the organic label.

I think people don't like them because you cannot clone them. You get a different plant each seed you grow, like a different looking kid from same parents. I don't mind that myself. It does suck a little when you find a plant you like and would grow again but i trade that for the simplicity of being able to tend the plant at any time of the day without problems. I think they yield just fine; got 13 ounces from the last one I harvested.

since autoflowers are controlled be genetics and not the light cycle you need to really keep them healthy before flower because you can’t take extra time to fix things if the plant isn’t doing well.

auto flowers can’t be cloned in any practical manner.

autos cost more to grow if you leave the lights on 20+ hours a day.

autos are a mixture of regular genetics with low potency ruderallis genetics which inherently muddies the genetic pool.

Good point but I think growing indoors has better quality control benefits for instance, there aren't any raccoons peeing on them.

Not necessarily. THC isn't the only thing that's psychoactive in marijuana or that gives you a nice high. I remember my highs being from my head to my toes, and now with super potent high THC it's all in my head. I guess it's all in preference. I like vaping 16% THC weed that tastes like fruits more than anything.

It's pretty much all a shot in the dark for me, me and my 20-year-old beans.

But I'd to do some variety and experiment. what's cool about the auto feminized, you could grow them with regulars without conflicts.
