can i feed my plants electrolytes

I've heard there is a company by the name of JR Peters that has been making plant electrolytes for many years....you can even buy them dry in 25# bags at a good value.

Without jumping down the rabbit hole too much on this electrolyte subject - Tugor Pressure and ions , etc.

Most of those electrolyte compounds - potassium / nitrogen / phosphorus / etc are pretty much handled thru either your soil makeup or by your nutrient line. Sure , its what plants crave .....

But the easiest way to ' supplement ' would be from foliar application, water soluble minerals ionize and then can be foliar sprayed .
Additionally, contain ions (positive or negative charges) that are dissolved in water. They play a key role in maintaining plant health. Electrolytes are essential for photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and other metabolic processes.

Porous structures like the stomata present on the leaf surfaces are responsible for gaseous diffusion. These electrolytes are used by stomata for their opening as well as closing by forcing them above and below in dry regions of the cells.

For the nerds ....

Electrolytes conduct electricity when dissolved in water. OR PEE .....
Ion channels in cell membranes regulate the flow of the positive and negative charges through cells.
Water follows these charges, and always goes to the side that has a greater number of electrolytes due to the process of osmosis.
In plants, these charged ionic minerals are attracted to each other and to the water molecule which also dissociates into hydrogen and hydroxide ions.

One could also , DIY a simple urine 10:1 water spray or even a seaweed/kelp version

So, man up , drop your trousers and hose them honeys.
