This is from back in the day (2003-04) when ya had to order from across the pond and lose a lot of $$$ to procure any genetics whatsoever. (unless you had a hook) The postage alone was $40....and many times ya heard "We never got your cash". Yeah...right. SO MUCH EASIER NOW.....like everything else weed-related.

I am gonna a start some bob stuff soon. Gonna run the slymer x cbd i made, the last slymer bean and then pick a few regs to try out. I am gonna toss the mutant mommas I put in flower for fun to make room. Or at least one. I don't think they'll finish flowering before I need the space.

I still order Euro seeds. The two strains I had that got mold were both Ameri-strains, from good breeders, just not mold resistant at all, dense AF but very prone to mold. So swamp life is what it is, I still use the Euro high mold tolerance selector as my #1 factor in ordering seeds. Best I can ever manage is about 45% RH in full bloom. I can't pull off desert conditions so I've got to rely on older genetics that have a track record for mold resistance. Most US seeds I've come across have a mold resistance rating of "maybe?, sure if you want but we haven't really tested it for swamps."

Seeds from Netherlands and Spain have done me well over the years.

Found it. I swear it was a collaboration with a high popularity breeder of the day, but I can't find the original advert. She was tasty but needs a lot more than 450w of old school HPS to produce like in the picture.

Probably do well under 400-600w LED these days however. May try her again when I get a bigger space.

This weed is really weird. 2 bowls have sent me to the good place for the entire afternoon (Bout 2 hours apart) when usually I can chain smoke bowls all day. It doesn't taste of much, but the pinene is pretty strong in smell. The original black apple momma is fruitier, and turns a bit purple at the end. This one is bright green, and very sharp. I like these beans. Gonna dig into them after my bob grow and start 50. I wired up my basement for a grow when I moved in, then never put plants in. Need a new tent or 2....

4/20 sales are gonna be here soon. I'm hoping to grab a couple oscillating fans and a better clone tray if there are good deals. The last two tents I've bought were Spider Farmer brand and I'd recommend them highly due to the very thick canvas and smooth zippers.

Do you think oscillating fans are better than more numerous but low power stationary ones? I use stationary fans that feed into eachother's air streams. They are each years old and still running flawlessly since I tend to run them on low..

I have one oscillating fan under the canopy blowing up at an angle and 2 regular clip on fans above. I just worry about windburn on the buds so I keep the stationary ones pointed above the canopy. I'd like to try the oscillating ones blowing right through the tops as a potential way to stiffen the branches up to help with not needing so many supports when they get heavy in late flower.

Monday! Seeing 20”+ in the midweek forecast. I’m sure other NE’ers are seeing similar. My vacation starts in a week, but I’m hopeful for a first snow day of the winter - kinda day where it’s too snowy to get to work but perfectly fine to get to the ski mountain.

Looks like the eclipse will be a clear day. Planning to head for a place with totality - will get an early start, and since I’m only 90 minutes from such places, we should be ahead of most of the others heading North. They’re talking about 200k+ coming to Vermont. That’s almost half the population. Envisioning some crowded roads. But totality looks like a much different experience than anything partial - full darkness and the cool ring - I’d like to see that. I plan to twist up a few and prepare to be patient with my fellow humans.

Happy new week, fellow tokers.
