Trillis net or no trillis net ? Opinions

Av always used trillis netting in the past but this is my first run in 4 years is there new ways of doing things besides yoyos or bamboo sticks .just flipped these girls on the weekend and already starting to see them stretch 20240410_133925.jpg

Av ran a few runs with out it only issue at the lady weeks of flower they get to heavy and flop over each other .I try to get them as strong and thick as I can but still weight brings them down

I prefer tomato or peony cages (shorter, wider, more stout tomato cages) and training the individual plants. Nets are great if you’re running the same cut, plants have the same growth rate, and/or plan on harvesting everything at the same time. Individual cages are great if you like to rotate your plants or harvest them one at a time - like if you like to run a few different plants/phenos at the same time. There are as many ways to grow as there are types of growers, so it depends on your method and making it work for you.

Had never thought about it that way but your absolutely right I have 4 different strains in there all are supposed to finish around day 55 but we all know that never happens

I have no roof clear enough of LEDs.
Dislike the inflexibly of netting and I have been a bamboos kinda guy for a very long time.

I think I gave a couple dozen yo-yos away.

I tried a net once, but I'm always running from seed. I made these for other training. The super croppers are made from old fencing wire, and the branch spacers/holders from landscape fabric pins.

If you look up cheaper than cheap I'm right there!
3D printed dozens of LST clips for pennies on the dollar - I've been told they work good lol !
Printed hooks for netting and I made some little pole clip on shelves for the small thermo hygrometers.
