You want to make use of the root space you have.

So try keeping the top canopy as level as possible and trim the lower branches that doesn't get proper light.
Also you can trim the smaller branches that try growing to the top, but where the area is already filled with buds.
Just don't let em get too bushy, so there is atleast decent airflow around them.

I use side lighting and weave them under the canopy of other plants

you can top right before flower. the plant doesnt really start to actually kick to bloom until about day 4 or 5 of 12/12. just half the grow time instead of 24/0 like i run. i did a big plant 100 days veg 62 days flower in a 12 gallon plastic tub did LST tied her up and topped and fimmed everything a day before flower maybe two days and after she recovered flipped her got 14 zips. just didnt want you spreading bad information is all. you can top before flower. atleast i can my plants grow a few inches per day with my setup and ffof. you could on even day 1 probably but has to be at the start or right before. a week in i couldnt tell u but they will bounce back in a day or two in 12/12 3 max

You can do anything question was will you get fat branches. Will you get more if you dont top it before flower

I get about 7 to 9 a plant with 30 day veg

ya i can get that the big plant i ran was stuck with low humidity i coulda got well over a pd off her had i had a way to fix it at the time. live and learn right. big plants are a a waste of time. nice looking autos bro! i dont run them myself. looks like some good smoke! i ran a glueberry auto awhile bavk from Expert seeds man you should try that one ive grown alot of plants mostly photos and that is one that has stuck out to me. never had weed give off that string cheese fake sort of plastic smell idk. was some great sativa dominant for only 84 days from seed. fr bro was frosty let me try to find a pic looked like a photoperiod bud when it was cured

yes topping will give you shroter bushier plamts resulting in thicker stems and increased water and nutrient flow. the bigger the stalk the bigger the buds. dont forget LST i dont top til about week3 i just tie them up and have a nice even canopy most of the time lol when the genetics isnt stable all the phenos arw different so a pain in teh ass. lower those lights and keep them as short as possible :) if you dont wanna top if ur worried just do LST
