Hey y’all,

Since the kids are still young, we turn in early, even on vacation. Lying here with my thoughts as they snooze for the night, mind turns to the summer run and getting things lined up when we get home.

Would like to run five strains outdoor this year (sorry, ridiculous Canadian household limits). Did seven last year and after culling one male, left me with 6. Was manageable in the end, so I could be convinced to do it again, but thinkin’ 5. With that said, I trust y’all stoners’ opinions and insight more than you know, so I’m taking it to you my friends. Here is what I’m thinking, but could slot any of these around. Variety is key as I hate burning out on strains. Some of this is predicated on Miz Chiz having certain effects she likes, so I factor that in with the choices.

What stays? What goes?
Sundae Driver
GG#4
Berry White
Apple Fritter
5 Alive
Peanut Butter Breath
Bubblegum Sherbet
To help sleep gotta keep gg4, flavor bubblegum sherbet, apple fritter definitely :weed:
Morning all

Mornin'...

Ah...Springtime.

We are in endless clean up mode here. It's amazing how much vegetation there is out there.:D I spent a part of the afternoon yesterday cleaning up my son's memorial garden. Talk about putting your head >elsewhere<. (not sure where it is but it's real AF) I think I worked for 2 hours or so and it's amazing how the time disappears/how alone you can be in your own head with so many incredibly heavy thoughts about.

Into the 70's here today. Far too dry already. I could tell by the sound that the creek was up a bit this AM. I'm hoping run off holds off a bit but we will see.

I hope yer day goes well...

Wow so beautiful, when dealing with complex trauma a good dose of mushrooms, a chair in front of that tree and a beer or sweet ice tea would help immensely when integrating trauma and by the time we reach old we have a lot of trauma to process  :eyesmoke: stay elevated my friend.

Thank you.

FWIW...."Tripping" is something I haven't had the 'nads to do (or the desire to do) since he left. I think I've seen most of what is >there< after hundreds of journeys. I'm not sure I need to go there again. Like most other drugs...it's been a good thing I got a lot of that out of the way in my youth. Had I still been drinking/drugging heavily I doubt I'd be typing this right now. It was touch and go as it was...without all of that in the mix. Only the wife and remaining son kept me here/from offing myself.

His "garden" is a portal. On our second visit to this property as prospective buyers in 2013...I had an experience here/in this spot like I've never felt before. As I walked up the creek I came to this circle of oaks...and as I stood and looked at the creek I felt a warmth come from within and what felt like a warm embrace. It scared the fuck out of me. It also told me I was home/meant to be here.

In 2014 we held a land blessing and a "Remembrance of Souls" ceremony that was guided by a friend/acquaintance who is a Mayan shaman. She had never been here before/knew nothing of this land/etc. When we walked her up to the circle of oaks and showed her where we were going to place some of my son's ashes...she paused...and she looked at me and said "We are not alone here". She told us that she wasn't able to connect with the spirits present...but she felt them and they were indeed here.

Later that night when we gathered for the Ceremony...the prior owners daughter and husband (who we had never met before) told us that they had spread their parents ashes just above that same circle of oaks...

yup...goosebumps.
