Some do yes but its usually pheno dependant and everything has to run right but such a thing exists for example the old top 44 was said to be ready super quick in reality most are 8 or 9 weeks under hps the old hashplant used to have 8 weekers in there too but again most went longer so its pheno dependent plus the earlier phenos yield less than the longer flowering ones as well as being a bit less potent in most cases too its best to just get between 9 to 12 weeks bloom time with most stuff you will encounter in your head as the standard also clones flower a wee bit faster than seedplants too so worth bearing that in mind too
The ones that finish that early wont be worth smoking id bet as they would be more useful as a breeding tool i think the old lowrider1 thats kinda tiny is almost so quick but it was weaker vs #2 and all the later better/more potent autos i dont think ul get one so quick worth smoking tbh
Thats the reason why I'm asking for peoples experiences on it because I still have 3 + weeks to go so saying 8 weeks seed to harvest is just bullsh**.
Yeah breeder times arent bang on some are closer than others id just wait till the plants tell me there ready vs a timeframe

There one good guide not all there is tho ignore the ones on the leaves watch the ones only on the buds and also wait for the buds to swell up good and all the pistils to recede/shrivel up when your assessing ripeness i myself prefer at least 20% ambers with indica ish stuff as a minimum too but thats personal preference really
I go for all cloudy and 15% amber never tried for any other percentage. What kind of difference with more amber is it more couch lock or racy head high?
I don't go for a certain percentage. I just wait until there are as few clears as possible. I am kind of growing and figuring this all out. So far what I have found is smell, taste, potency etc are very strain and pheno dependent. We can help or hurt them, but I have had great and stinker from the same seed pack in my environment which isn't ideal by any means. Just my experience.

I've grew 4 Afghan autos awhile back 2 in 5 gallon and 2 in 3 gallon and not much difference they were almost identical and all got chopped same day. But I have heard that a lot as well just never had hard proof on the subject.
I read this all the way through like no way possible until I read the edit at the bottom makes more sense but how is the smoke? I had a thai stix auto or something like that I stunted the shit out of and only got to 7inches tall yielded a whopping 5g dry but man to this day it has been the best tasting, smoothest smoke.
