yes they are 5 gal bucks i drilled holes in them and put a mesh over the holes. i used fox farms soil and add bone meal and earth worm castingsyou drilled many holes in the buckets? what you using for draining and what mix
rippers dont rlly have choppers around where i live and the trees are to dense iv been looking at low profile smell strains i have 8 plants atm and they dont smell to badWhat's your biggest risk. Rippers on foot. Or chopper in the sky.

I have grown in the bush in Hawaii for 10+ years. I had, boars, rippers, Green Harvest choppers (feds), slugs and cows to deal with.
I would only grow the two short seasons mostly as long season plants are kinda risky b/c of getting huge.
Find a good zone well away from people. Higher elevation makes weed even better than low land grown weed. Put them in the ground for huge plants. A deeper hole is better than a wide hole. The deeper the fertilizer can be placed less likely for a green bullseye of other plants nearby. Plus water will stay deep in the hole below other nearby plants roots.
I started nurseries in the bush for seedlings and cloning. A 1/4 inch welded wire cage was a must to keep rats and birds from eating seeds before germination, and the first 2 weeks. Lots of metaldehyde slug bait needed for seedlings in nursery and at transplant.
Close by water source or catching rain water might be needed. Dig a big hole and line it with thick painters plastic if possible to catch rain water. Cover it with branches and grass to keep it from reflecting light.
Never harvest in the rain. Let em have 48 hours at least to dry out if in harvest window. Bud rot is hard to deal with in the bush. Dipel needs good timing of when the moths are laying eggs. There's many essential oil products that repel the moths and control all fungus. Once weekly will do fine.
Good natural camouflage by planting near like colored foilage, close to trees or with wild nitrogen fixers. Try your best not to make trails.

Well right now im growing in the woods beside a highway. so i dont have to worry about smell i also grow low odor and fruity strains just incase tho. have had a issue with worms and bud rot iv been using bt to stop it and i use neem oil during veg to keep other insects away and sprinkle Demetrius earth on the soil gonna try plannting in the ground when my beans arriveI have grown in the bush in Hawaii for 10+ years.
