Trying to narrow down a light?

I been looking at the HLG Tomahawk 650 for a 4x4 photo grow. Are there better options with a lower price tag or is this one pretty much top of the line?

I don’t mind paying that price tag if its worth it, but I'm also all about saving money if there are better options.

Lets hear your thoughts. I been running 2 mars hydro ts1000 in a 2x4. They won’t work in my 4x4

You really can’t go wrong with HLG. They use quality parts, they make a great product and they have the best customer service around. They are on the higher side price wise, but for the reasons stated they’re worth it.

Look up @shnkrmn 's posts he's using two of those. I run HLG's Diablo X and my plants love that thing but it's over 5x5 tables not 4x4.

I have 2 650 watt Tomahawks in 4x4s. Nonstop since last summer. I couldn't be happier with the results. I also own a 500w viparspectra which makes great flowers but raw power counts. Your lights can veg a 4x4 nicely but not flower, as you said. HLG has regular sale discounts.

Awesome!!! I will keep an eye out for a sale. Im not in a rush just pre planning.
