i lived in new york till i was 5

its in my roots, every time i smell so nasty piss or car exhausts or see some dope graffiti in the subway, i feel like i'm home. it just sticks with you, even if i was just an infant, or maybe thats way it stuck with me.

NY is an experience I don't understand where your coming from if you don't like it. only other city that I think even compares is new orleans...Just because that place is so unique. just like NY.

Towlie...your post hit the nail on the head! I also was born in NYC(Manhattan) & only lived there till I was six, but man what's touching times square, the macy's parade, 9th avenue pizza, all the people from everywhere in the world all over the streets. If you were born there or lived there for any length ot time you love that city with all your heart & no matter where you go it will always be a part of you. It somehow becomes part of who you are. There is no city on Earth like NYC & there never will be.
