BOG Sour Bubble and Sour Blutooth

My brother, who used to live in South Lake Tahoe from 2008 - 2018 and met BOG and his wife, attending in person grow clinics and growing a lot of their gear…gifted me all the BOG seeds he had left. 14 Sour Bubble and 5 Sour Blutooth freebies. These seeds are from 2018 and purchased from BOG.

Soaked the seeds in water for ~24 hours and tossed them in solo cups with coast of Maine seed starter plus coarse perlite. A week later and all 5 of the sour blutooth popped and 9 of the sour bubble. 14/19 not bad for 6 year old seeds stored in less than ideal conditions.

I’ve got a 2’x4‘and a 2.3’x2.3’ tent so this could get interesting. I do have a small outdoor space I could use as a last resort.

My plan is to see what I get gender wise and then hopefully flower some for smoke or get some seeds or clones to start a rotation.

Most of these are trucking right along. One seedling didn’t make it and a few others are on the puny side. We’ll see if they end up growing out.

Little over 2 weeks old. Will probably move these to their final pots (3g fabric) in a couple weeks. Will be doing a soil grow and dry organic grow and bloom fertilizer plus recharge.

Are you doing a preservation run?
That wasn’t my original plan but I’ll see what I end up with. I was hoping to find a decent pheno and get a mother I can clone for a semi-continuous grow.

If I get decent male then I’ll either collect pollen for a future female or might pollinate one female.

All but 3 plants are in their final sized pots. 5 were transplanted Tuesday and the other 5 on Thursday. 8 are in a 2x4 and 2 in a 2.3x2.3’. The ones I transplanted on Tuesday are now almost double their size. Fun times ahead!

They are looking good. So these are reg photos? Bog is the bomb. I have some Blue Moon Rocks I'm running this winter. I used to chat with the man years ago. Great dude that helped us with excellent seed and excellent advice.
Another site I hang at does many preservation runs of bog seed and many others. Bog used to hang at that site till they shut it down in about 07-08. Now it's been back up for a while and the goal is to Overgrow the world..lol.

Yeah, these are reg photos. I never met Bog but my brother and his wife have nothing but praise for him and his wife. I’ve followed a few of the preservation run threads on overgrow but I’m just a reader vs poster there.

I typically run Mephisto auto flowers so this is all new to me, re: photos and not feminized. I’m excited to be able to veg as long as I want vs autos where any misstep can stunt them for the entire grow.

Flipped these to get the show on the road. Moved all the females (2 confirmed and on suspected) to my smaller tent. Watered tonight and I’m pretty sure all 7 in my 2x4 are dudes…not a huge deal as I’ve got 10 clones of the 2 females ready to be potted.

So far I’m not too impressed with the structure of the 2 females. Both are sour bubble and have huge fan leaves but they don’t want to spread out, just a single stalk look. I’ll have to work out a training plan for my clones to get them to open up.

Few pics.

Pulling up a chair for this one. I ran Bogs Sour Bubble in my last run unfortunately I didn't get to see its full potential due to not having a powerful enough light in the flower tent. I did get some decent buds though. It has a very distinct smell to it almost like burnt rubber and grapefruit. Not much for terps though but that was likely my lack of care. I also had some weird tiny little brown leaves towards the end which I thought were nanners but apparently not. I did not find a single seed so maybe just the strain? Well see how yours turn out. Much respect peace!!!

After another round of inspection this afternoon, I was fairly certain the 7 plants in my 2x4 were male…so they got culled. I have a couple clones off each (still rooting) if I want to grow any for pollen. I was just pressed for space and didn’t want to go buy another tent/setup.

So out with the old and in with 10 clones (5 from each confirmed female) to veg. I still have 3 (2 sour bubble and 1 sour blutooth) runts from seed. One is a trifoliate and maybe it will eventually show female.

For summary: 3 plants (2 female and one not showing) are flipped in my small tent, 10 sour bubble (2 separate plants) vegging and three runt no shows and still vegging in the 2x4.
