I have to get my printer going again- the head is clogged from disuse. If I squirt a little alcohol in the orifices with a pipette and then install new ink cartidges and run the cleaning routine I'm pretty sure it'll work as I've done that before to good effect
My printer prints directly on printable CDs and DVDs

I found when I had a printer, I ended up printing just any old shit that I never looked at again. The kind of stuff you print, look at a couple of years later and think WhyTF did I print this? When I still worked it was nice using that big expensive Xerox but... Now I just go to the library and print stuff I absolutely have to have.

Last 15 years or so, BB just buys reman's. They are/were Win 8's that had Win 10 installed. You can tell the slowdown in the older ones so I doubt a hack to go from Win8>Win10>Win11 will produce speed demons

I got one of those many moons ago just to print on those CDs etc. Never printed on a single one.. Even got an ink cartridge resetter so I could fill those cartridges then reuse them until the printer wore out. Bought a Samsung monochrome laser printer over 10 years ago and still haven't had to buy a new toner cartridge for it.

Couple months ago I grabbed one of those Epson EcoTank printer/scanners at Costco so I could print out some pics and hang a few on the walls instead of just having them on on the hard drive or the phone. Cheap box of frames from the thrift store so just have to decide what to print now. Came with a spare bottle of black ink too. Don't know if it will print on CDs tho. :)

Cheap colour printers are a real scam. The cartridges that come with them are only about 1/3 full compared to new very expensive ones. New ink set is often more than a new printer so people just toss them out or donate them to a thrift store. Millions of them in landfills all over the world I bet.

Broken links are not a big mystery. You put a link to a site on your web page then the owner of that webpage stops supporting it and all their pages go away but the link remains on your site until someone lets you know it's not working and you remove the link. I am kind of surprised that webcrawlers don't or can't send a notification to all sites linking to the now gone pages so webmasters can remove them or find an alternate page with the same or similar info.
