Just started some papaya kush.
1 week old today.
roots organic 70/30 coco perlite
Watering at lights on with 100ml
3g fabric pots
House and garden coco a and b 1/4 strength
Tap water starting @ 415 ec
Ph /feed to 5.8-6.0
Temp 79-81
Rh 55-62

not sure if this is a calcium deficiency starting
(Little wavy) was thinking ph swinging?
Roots organic says it’s buffered with dolomite lime to help stabilize ph

any help is greatly appreciated!!

One of the easiest ways to kill your plants, especially at this age, is to "over love" them. They don't need a lot right now, too young to start training, and nutritional needs are minimal. Feed them, and leave them alone.

What are your thoughts on beneficial microbes?

haha I believe
I check them once a day and let them go.

in previous grows I was using roots organic original soil with terp tea grow and terp tea bloom.

And just watering tap water (bubbled) when very light.
they do great during veg and once I hit mid to late flower and do a top dress they all start looking burnt or deficient.
Never thought about adding any microbes into coco. Should I?
which would you recommend?

You nailed my preference, Recharge, even in coco. Been using it since 2019, once I found "The Dude Grows Show".

Toss it in with your a&b. Mainly looking for the mychorrizae root protection in coco, but the humic, and fulvic acids as well as the kelp in it are helpful to your plant.

I feel i should add, toss it in after you've Ph'd your solution and give it about 10 minutes after you've mixed it before feeding, it helps activate all the little microbes.

If thats all coco/pearlite and it were my grow Id say its from dryback. The practices I follow are to keep medium saturated at all times, feeding as soon as it loses the right amount of moisture.

If I did that my plants would do the same thing. I do drain to waste coco which is essentially what this appears to be. Feed to runoff daily more than once or itll build salts fast. Just let a drop of nutes dry on a surface, itll be chaulk white.

Didn’t do any training this run.
we’ll see how fast they can finish.
feeding coco a&b at 3ml a gallon
1/2 teaspoon recharge per gallon once a week.
how do they look?

Imo, if the pistils are just starting to turn, you've got at least 2 weeks, probably 3. Do you have a loupe to inspect trichs? Once 90% of the pistils have browned that's when you look to the trichs.
