Hear me out - crazy idea for maximum yields with dwc/aero and autoflowers

if you want to compare use same size contaniners.you would get better results if you used clones from the same plant
I have several gorilla glue clones , but they get so big idk if it would be worth wasting a clone in such a small space . I get it though - solely because of the pheno differences . As far as pot size , I would think it would be pretty equal , considering a dwc 5 gallon has next to no medium , and can quite literally fill an entire 5 gallon bucket with roots - where as the 9 gallon fabric pot will be filled with coco , as well as a perlite base with air bases to oxygenate .

As long as they use the same space in tent
They’re just a much taller lankier plant then most autos , or my greasy runtz . They have to be topped several times to look like this, which slows everything down . With autos yoire on the clock and lst is 1000% everything to fill space and get high yields .IMG_2309.jpeg
This picture ^^^ is the greasy runtz. It is the same age , but standing in at a max 4 foot tall. They’re so gnarly and bushy , I can’t see them going much over 6 foot but being so indica dominant , I’m guessing they’ll have some huge juicy nugs . “These are bag seed from the best smoke I’ve ever had “

I am curious to see what these gorilla glue yield this year . 10 gallon fabric pots , outdoors , hand watered 4+ times a day , in coco .

they’re 2 months old , and just started showing hairs finally . This is the shortest one at around 54 inches but man is it ever stacked . I’ve got several over 6 foot as well . Something tells me that this one is absolutely gonna catch up to its 6 foot sibling to the right though and yield quite a bit more! I really wish I had gone with 25 gallon pots and coco , and fed as many as 8x a day , smaller doses of nutes. I’ve definitely noticed a huge difference by breaking feedings up , vs wetting them down heavy in the am , daily at start . They show insane growth when fed 4+ x a day .
I’m about to start a grow diary on here , of my 4 autoflowers though . I just popped them the day before yesterday , they were transplanted from paper towels into root riot cubes , and 3 inch grodan blocks yesterday morning . Today we have 2 inch tall autos with their cotyledons spread right out .

I don’t buy into the “no nutes” for seedlings . They get a small dose of tiger bloom and roots exculerator to stimulate heavy root growth immediately. My tap water is 380ppm , and they were fed a 550 ppm dosing , and seems to pay off so far !

no need to tag me in your wishes.if you showed a comparison i would say okej.but having a grow inside your head no need to tag me for that.
i think you dont know what dwc is.all the photos have dirt in it

Those are bottom feeding s.i.p.s, not DWC.
I know what dwc is . I also know what aero is . Yes this is a picture of an autopot setup , I have an 8 site dwc setup as well that I haven’t built the aero manifold for yet . The post was to get opinions on if it would work to accelerate root growth for young vegetative plants or not , before they reached the solution in a Dwc system .

would you consider coco to be a soil grow , or hydroponics? I guess the argument can be made that , it’s outside , and hand watered not automated , but 99% of people will agree it’s still hydro . Top fed , drain to waste .

I didn’t tag you initially , this is quite literally my first thread on here and I honestly have no clue who is who . I quoted you based on you commenting on my post . If someone else tagged you in this thread then I apologize for wasting your time .

You're absolutely fine, no need to apologize or worry about who you quote. Most of the successful growers on here smoke so much pot we are confused at least 1/2 the time. So just liberally ignore stuff.

PS coco is hydro with a buffer substrate hth.

Meh, it's a message board people will quote you and as drugged as many of us are there has to be some patience extended thanks.

So from spending hour upon hour sifting through forums and Reddit , it’s come to my realization that for maximum yields with autoflowers , peeps are using Dwc .

it’s also been stated that aeroponics is around 33% faster than hydroponics , and 66% faster than soil

I have a brand new 8 bucket dwc system on its way , that is getting filled with speedrun seeds autos in a 4x4 tent .

Here lies my idea , what if I put rubber grommets through each bucket , with 1/2 inch pex , and two nozzles per bucket , and utilized aeroponics to speed up root growth to the water , by spraying the media directly till the roots have reached their final destination .

this sounds like a lot of work , but at the same time , if it gains you one week less of veg time , or an extra week worth of growth , it could mean the difference between so so yields vs massive yields with autos .

Idk if I’m to far out in left field on this one , but figured I’d ask yall - as I’m sure many of you have experiences with both ways , and may provide some kind of insight I’m overlooking .

pic of a Girl Scout cookie auto , 3 weeks into flower from fastbuds , “outdoors and hand watered 2-3 times daily in coco , with 3-4 weeks left , I have a feeling they’re gonna be insanely frosty !
Thats already been done. Its a similar method to the spray cloners withe the reservior of water all contained in the same plant base. You used to be able to even buy alsorts of single pots with hybrid hydro systems. Airophonic foggerers and misters too, combined with bubblers and alsorts of stuff.
