Feels like a remake of an old foreign movie, I know this story, I know it very well. Every headline, every question from journalist and pundits, I heard them all before. And it’s not a good story, it’s not entertaining, and there’s no happy ending.
*spoiler alert* Whether it’s in debates, media, personal irl convos or social media, including forums, soon you can’t refer to Trump as Hitler anymore, nor his followers as nazis or fascists. Even indirectly implying Trump is dangerous will be heavily frowned upon, across the aisle.
If you do not comply, you’re a bad person like the shooter, you’re inciting violence, and you’re perceived as a danger yourself. Politicians who don’t comply and won’t stop pointing out Trump is dangerous, will be in danger themselves.
“Speaking from experience:”
”Can’t say any longer a populist is dangerous, can’t demonize the demon anymore, because that would maybe cause someone to remove the dangerous demon. I’ve been listening to that for 20 years now.”
Biden’s oval address was all about how it should be, not how it is, which doesn’t become reality by saying how it should be. If only it were that simple. I heard it all before, for decades. Listen to Mike Johnson talking to Anderson, for a sneak preview of what’s to come. From now on, it’s only ok to wish death upon leftwing leaders.
There’s nothing you can do to change the events, certainly not with bullets. Maybe, just maybe, with words, but then free speech took a hit yesterday, one from which it won’t recover anytime soon. I don’t think it‘s a false flag op, but for Trump and the GOP, it’s much much better than that. It’s the ultimate clincher. It’s the “you just hate Trump” on steroids.
Welcome back, to 1984.
