Looks great, make sure that cup has drain holes and you place it inside of an opaque cup.

Why do people in north America start in solo cups I never start weed in anything so small I gotta ask lol it just seems a very common practice over there along with the 5 gallon buckets over plant pots suppose there cheaper and easier to source ? Not having a go btw just something I've noticed and wondered about for a while Vs how we roll in the UK

I get you. Honestly I've wondered the same thing. I start my seeds in Jiffy Pellets, move to 1 pt nursery pots and then finish in 2 gallon FloraFlex pots and before FloraFlex I used 2 gallon nursery pots. Honestly I have no clue. I'd guess maybe because we drink too much. But I think you guys are about on par with us. So yeah it's not something that's made sense to me. But sometimes the obvious avoids me

Solo cups are cheap alternatives to small plastic pots. I start all my seeds in 3.5” square plastic pots.

Looks good so far, perhaps stretching a tiny bit. Consider moving your light a little closer.
Another tip you might want to consider. Fill the cup/pot almost all the way with your medium. It’ll give the plant more room to grow before you have to move it to a larger container.
