I was looking for some skunk #1 and northern lights #2 & and #5.

I ended picking some up from agseedco.com.

I was curious if anyone has any experience with this breeder and if so how were the genetics?

I have grown out the NL #2 and the Original Haze. Healthy genetics and easy to grow.

NL #2 - The phenotypes I encountered were all relatively close to each other with variations in Terp profile but mostly the same. As I understand it these seeds are a reproduction of some stock that was kept in a freezer for over 40 years. Its essentially growing a time capsule which I think is so damn cool. The same seed stock where they found the classics that we know of today.

I think the genetics are there but I think you'd likely have to do a large grow to find what you're looking for. Which is not uncommon. I also think there are traits you can find for breeding. So growing them isn't a bad idea, @shnkrmn found a couple pretty nice Northern Lights. So there's good stuff in there just need a bit of time to find it. So do an open table pollination and just grow through some numbers.

I see you're coming back to growing and getting your equipment updated. These are good seeds for doing exactly that. They aren't crazy expensive and those three were easy to grow. So I think they are just fine for getting back in the game.

Bodhi has some really sound and above average genetics. Look at our seed & strain reviews forum too. Lot's of people here know genetics @conor c @Senokai both on your thread are great resources.

I took a quick look at your post history and I need to get a new light for a 4x4 I own a couple of HLG's 350R for a 5x5 and a couple HLG Scorpion Diablo Xs for my 5x5s and a HLG Veg/Pro 250 for my clone/seedling tent 2x4. All my tents are Gorillas and use their 1 and 2 foot extensions. I'm looking at their Tomahawk for my 4x4 @shnkrmn runs a couple and they are amazing.

I hope that helps and welcome to RIU anything we can help with here we are

idk about these guys i wouldnt trust them as far as i can throw them. although i did find it hilarious when they went around claiming to have road kill skunk in there hands and tried to sell those seeds at a crazy price later to be called out on it. those seeds have since been removed from the website last i checked however i believe theres a super salty blog post trying to explain how volatile that smell is and how it evaporates after drying. i call bullshit i handled pounds and pounds of the real skunk smelling weed when i was younger sometimes the bags would sit for weeks and the smell never disappeared. it was one of the most pungent odours if you had a gram or two in a pack of smokes and went to visit some friends at there house everyone would smell it off you almost immediately which makes me wonder is the rest of their seed stock what they say it is

who did this? Cause McCormick seems to being pretty transparent about it and has the necessary “receipts “ or whatever you wanna call it.

Todd's straight, people need to get off that whole garbage attitude. The RKS seeds came from Heime Cheeba, aka Dirty Jim from Alaska. Todd got some, JJ got some, I think some others got some. Jim was the one selling them for $500, Todd made one repro and sold them for I think it was $100, but stopped selling them because they weren't it. He got some skunk 1 seeds from Mel Frank, and other skunk 1 seeds from Skunkman, along with the Haze he sells. Those are skunk 1 though, not the Skunk that used to be on the black market back in the day. Nobody's got the old RKS that was floating around America for decades or longer. It's just not there anymore.

This is awesome! Thank you!!

Yes, I'm just getting back into things from over a decade ago. The led world has been a little intimidating.

I've also stopped using bottle nutrients as of recently and started top dressing with gai green. I've never used dry amendments before so I'm a little nervous about it.

I was using fox farm liquid nutes through veg and decided to make the switch to dry in my first week of flower. From what I understand it takes a few weeks to notice anything with the gai green. I used 2 tbsp of all purpose and 5 table spoons of bloom. I'm using a mixture of ocean forest and happy frog for 3 of my 4 and 1 with just happy frog. I'm crossing my fingers the bottle nutes were out of their system before I added the gai.

I ended up going with ac infinity 4x4 but wish now I would have went with something taller like what gorill grow offers. Im concerned with height.

I did also make a light change. I decided to exchange the 700Rspec fr for a 750 diablo. I don't think it was working quite right. I called hlg and they were awesome to talk too. After I told them my concerns they recommended I go with the 750 Diablo instead. Its supposed to get here today. They definitely hooked me up! I will never forget it and they now have a customer for life.

Currently in my 4x4 I have a blue dream, gg#4, Chem # 4 and a Dutch passion Blueberry. Im afraid I'm going to run out of room with the blue dream. I was excited to see the clone at my local hydro store and couldn't help myself.

Next run I don't think I will have such a variety. Topped em all a few weeks ago and now im at the end of my 1st week of flower.

This site has been awesome and treated me well. I've had a lot of newbie questions and nobody has made me feel silly for asking. This place is going to be valuable to me. It already has been.

Thanks for taking the time to share your information. I really appreciate it.

Yeah, the Tomahawk looks awesome too!
