Thanks, Bro, for the kind words!

Yes, there is no work, no prospects, and we need to survive somehow, now it's more than a hobby or a pastime for me))).

What would I be doing if it wasn't for that? I have no idea.))) Pegasus feeds me, Bro.))))))

)))))
You won't believe it, I bought one of these too

I have a lot of furniture and books, I hope I don't freeze in the winter.))

Frost is the worst thing that can happen... unless you count war, of course.)))books go on shelves, aginst outside walls for insulation tightly packed ,home furniture do'nt last long in a wood burning stove !
Thanks, Bro!!!

I'll do my best.))

But endeavour is not enough with all this, we still need to survive.

You can accidentally be in the wrong place at the wrong time... and there's a mass catching of people to send..... There's more than one way to go two metres underground.)

I am lucky to some extent, I have a father, he is 85 years old, he can hardly walk, he can't survive on his own, he needs care, but still, it is better not to be seen by them.
i take it there are the wrong kind of people(from the north of you) around in your area?

PS: Bro, take care of your health!

I believe that most human diseases are caused by improper nutrition. Any disease. Food should be treated like a drug... carefully and cautiously.
i have a old wood heating stove in storage, just in case of another ice storm!
This is where I grow ‘fishing rods’ to later land them in Pegasus.

But it's a dubious gamble, because they say there will be schedules in autumn and winter to turn the lights on rather than off. This means that the lights will only be switched on for a few hours a day.

It will be more difficult to get out of this situation.

We'll see.... Veni, vidi, vici)))
this i hope to be true@sedan!

Only the neighbours upstairs won't be happy.))) black smoke will pour through their windows.))) It's a tall block of flats.

Bro, this is an extreme case, it's when it's -30 outside, the central heating is switched off because the pipes have burst from frost, icicles are hanging from the windowsills, you're sitting in felt boots and an ushanka hat... and playing the balalaika)).

At the beginning of the war there were districts where big houses were disconnected from heating in freezing weather for several weeks, there were cases when people froze, mostly old people.

You have a private house, in such a house it is a very necessary and useful thing, if you do not live in Jamaica.)) I've never seen an ice storm. You sure don't live in Jamaica.)))

My father had a small private house in the suburbs near the forest, it was an old house, it had a built-in cooker.... A Russian stove, this cooker heated the room and you could cook food, but on top of the cooker there was still a place to sleep. In the cold winter it was a VIP bed.))

....there's no more of that house...the ruins are there, it's very close to the border.

i came ,i saw, i won! I hope i got this right!
Julius Caesar said that, if I'm not mistaken.

You can read it on a pack of Marlboros. There's a coat of arms with that inscription on it.

thats a bad deal on your dads house, when the weather gets rough in this area it can be 1/2 in of snow or 3/4 to 1 inch of ice then everything shuts down trees falling taking powerlines and poles, roads blocked, allways have fuel for the chain saws. in case you have to cut your way out, and must be careful that you don't let frost build up on the flywheel it will break the cooling fins off the flywheel and lock the engine, then you have to remove the flywheel chunks and ice but that saw is out of action because of the out of balance flywheel.

I understand the blades that cool the engine pull air in, which freezes on the blades eventually and jams the blades

Yeah, I know roughly where you live. It's a harsh environment.

seems like we get hit with a really bad 1 every 15 to 20 years that brings everything to a stand still!

You must have a lot of temperature fluctuations between day and night.

That's the climate, Bro, you can't do anything about it, it's your homeland. It's my homeland, too, with its own funnies.)))

But I love my homeland.

They know everything for you, Bro. They care about you.) Stay calm!)))

and I really think they think we're stupid.

The US is the richest country in the world.

You shouldn't be out clearing broken trees on the road when you have snot frozen in your nose.

There are special services for that and they are paid to do it. You pay taxes!

I have not seen that in our country, after a hurricane, when broken trees fall on cars in the streets, that people go out and clean it up themselves... with their own tools.

People in orange waistcoats and helmets, with their equipment, come and clean it all up... silently!

It's gotten noticeably cooler, the power grid has lightened up, blackouts aren't as tiring now.

изображение_viber_2024-08-05_16-28-36-483.jpg

But that's not to say it's over, the best part is yet to come. ))

I don't know how we got anything out of this horrible cycle. It's been the hardest one yet

Yeah, I think it's going to be one quiet month. Nothing augurs well on my section of the front, where there is now mostly stiffening fighting, diverting forces from other parts of the front.

But that's not to say it's quiet. Every night you wake up to the house jumping.) Point-blank strikes are being carried out on the city, mostly at night. I can see out my window a drone flying overhead in the sky at night. I thought it was a star at first, but when I saw it on a cloudy night, I realised it wasn't.)) This drone was hovering in the same place all the time and had a light on it for some reason..... From afar, it looks like a star at night.

But one time there was a very strong impact nearby. There was a loud explosion and then a detonation.

But that's not the main thing... the main thing is ahead!)))))

I was shocked. A few days later, a video appeared on the Internet, where the Russians show the impact... the one that was next to me.... The video was taken from a drone. I looked at the angle of the video. I was horrified.))) It was that drone... it was a missile strike corrector... It can look out your window to see what you're having for dinner.))

There's a lot of those flying around.)))

We got a little distracted...

It's the seventh week of flowering.

Yes, after it got colder, the buds have perked up considerably.
They'll swell a little more
