Looking good. Went to see someone this weekend and they had a beatifull plum tree. They actual picked some off for me, big purple plumbs. Not so much round but slightly elongated and they were realy sweet and soft, turned out to be much much better than the best plumbs from two major big brand stores. They also had a huge old grape tree with some of the biggest grapes ive ever seen. The grapes were actual the size of plumbs, unfortunatly they wasnt ripe yet and i was told they would get a bit bigger too.
There's a couple of plumb trees not far from me idk what kind they are but we used to eat em as kids the ones these trees produce are also smaller kinda elongated like you mention but are very sweet

Reflecting back I've rarely been happy with canna crops, tbh I'm reluctant to entertain the thought but it's what it is?

Since changing to hydrocrop and megacrop my crops have been so much tastier, I'm not complaining but I find it suspect af that suddenly things are working out better than ever at the change of nutrient?

If you've used canna coco how did you find it namely for flavour?

Edit...Update on ec increase to 2.2.

The reluctance to raise ec above 2.0ec runs deep lol so yeah valuable lesson learned sometimes 1.8ec simply isn't enough.

You mean canna coco the nutrient line ? I use the a and b but I don't use the whole line for flowering I've been using buddahs tree for the last two runs I've only ever used the canna line a few years back and I was pulling the plants too early anyway when I look back day 56 no matter what they come down

I've been in a similar boat with hungry plants and high humidity tbh I'm at peace with the humidity now I don't stress about it anymore.

Ambient temps, I know with certainty its hotter under the light as I can feel heat when working under it, I need to put a thermometer on the canopy to check the difference?

Something I'd overlooked in regards to better flavour is I'm harvesting earlier now around 65/70 days, white/cloudy with a scattering of amber?

@Star Dog Plants look super healthy mate , last wk or so it’s been in the 70% rh and 26c lights off and 28-29c on not ideal ,I definitely see a pattern with food and higher temps and VPD , I’m in soil never had hungry plants at this stage

Hey bud thanks, I'm literally just back from adding 0.2ec to my reservoir that's 2.2ec that's as much ad I've ever needed.

I couldn't work it out tbh but that could be how my regular plants have yellowed this time but not previously when I've grown them with same ec, that does check out?

Do you ever get condensation forming anywhere in your tent?

I used to be ocd about it until I discovered running the fan constant eliminated it, although it's humid af in my tent it always feels fresh, I'd highly recommend trying it if it's feasible?

Sweet tooth wk 8 , been hard work the most hurgry plants I have ever grown and the weather has been a bitch high temps and humidity, the one plant went from green to pinks purples in the space of 48hrs never had that happen so quickly before freaked me out lol . Ww x super skunk (the doctor)is the most hungry plant I ever came across especially for N I can't even imagine trying to grow it under LEDs it be even harder to keep up with don't get me wrong good strain good yield good smoke but it is demanding as far as it's diet is concerned

Na mate no condensation got good air exchange/ circulation - I just don’t like running a new strain in that kinda humidity in late flower , is what it is ! I do have a fair bit of control over lung room but that’s very much weather pending kinda gig , just had to think a little harder with things like water on less humid days , selective leaf removal if big fan leaves touching ect , definitely brought out my ocd or as my mrs says selective ocd my tent grow room and fishing gear is super organised rest of my life is a cluster fuck her words lol . All good fun right , any ways on home straight now so fingers crossed touch wood and all that

These have had me questioning my soil mix all sorts mate, hard to call as first time running st think running higher temps has definitely increased there appetite maybe , all good fun and a learning curve, ESB and BG next run so that is going to be interesting .

I'm not familiar with the prices of them other than looking at the weekend but these appear to be ok vfm, they're not the most rigid but they're sticky af!

The bluchi v3 blends in with the others too well which is a shame because its braw plant :bigjoint:

While I was in there i got one of the fruity pebbles.

Those sticky traps have highlighted a problem I thought was minor, I've got circa 50 fruit flies between 4x traps in 24 hrs.

They're in the air, the coco, they laying eggs and have a larval stage idk how to even approach this with plants in bloom or what with?

I read about a thing called mosquito bits does anyone know how effective is that is, something that worked at larval level would be most effective as fresh eggs would be doomed and the cycle would collapse?

@Liamp1603 how are getting on with the pm bud?

Fwiw I've been reading about sulpher powder clearing up pm and it kill bugs + improves terps, jfc I'm not promoting it but it appears to be set in stone?

For the fruit flies I'm sure you can put a layer of sand on top of your medium and it stops them from reproducing in the medium .... or it might be fungus gnats I'm sure it's one of them tho and I bought the cx horticulture pmt mixed it up
the affected plant had had the doses and it's gone not even sure if it was definitely pm no other plants had it but it's gone now and no sign of a return

just battling the warm weather I need to invest in an ac unit I have leaf curl on the blue slushies no other plants tho

I like the bluchi strain I grew two out my last run I didn get lookers but affect and smell was there I've popped another 7 I think to grow out hoping to find a keeper

I think you can get a micronised sulphur burner that creates a gas for pm but I Dno how that would go with in flower as sulphur has a strong eggy odour doesn't it
