Frisian Dew shows some yellow leaves. I guess I should be upping the nitrogen?

Sweet Tooth auto I'm not too worried about, the yellowing of the leaves is happening so slowly that it might be an unintentional flush

What do you think? The yellowing is quickly spreading and some sugar leaves are turning purple. There's a lot of spiderweb on the main cola, but I'm pretty sure it's just regular spiderweb. I hope so at least, haven't seen any signs of spider mites.

Should I stop fertilizing it at this point? I know flushing is a "myth" so I'm more asking if it's pointless to fertilize at this stage.

Gotcha. I just remember some of the studies on flushing, concluding that the result was the same if you flushed or not. This also means that instead of fertilizing, you could just let it cannibalize itself before harvesting.

But since I need to slow down my dry, maybe it's in my best interest to keep fertilizing and let it keep as much foliage as possible.

I agree. The plants don't fill themselves up with all the food and minerals we offer them. They take what water they want from the mix and they eat the chemicals they want. Everything else get washed out of the pot when we water until runoff. This is why I don't really flush my girls either. I feed and water them until their last day. I might stop watering the plant the day before chop just to let it get started on the drying process! She wilts a little bit and then cut it.

What's your temps been like at night ? Cos below 15c for too long and it will start to lock some nutrients out anyway also I wouldn't be so quick to believe that rx study so much you know nute company's like selling more nutes just like they set there charts sky high we need more research on the subject imo

A night or two below 15c, but on average more like 17c night temp. Hope it's okay. All my photoperiods have several months left. They will feel the cold

Cold is no issue alone cannabis takes cold pretty ok minus tropical stuff it's when u got constant humidity and also cold so plants can't dry out so easy in the light then mould becomes a risk ime I hope u get a wee heat wave to finish them that be ideal

Oh, you meant for drying, I thought you meant about the purple colour, I know those colours come out in cold, so I thought that's what you meant.

The room I'm drying will be around 23c, so it's actually too hot if anything. I'll see what the humidity says at that point, but at the moment it's in the 50-55% ballpark, I assume it will rise by autumn, it will also rise when I hang the whole plants to dry. Might find some kind of middle ground in terms of trimming, so they keep a decent humidity in there.

Wet trim would mean they'd dry too fast, hanging them whole might send the humidity to 90%. So might remove everything except sugar leaves and hang them like that.

No growing I mean the sun helps dry them out in-between damp periods so when they don't get that Is when it's more of a issue if you were in cold and dry conditions you proly have less issues take Afghanistan as a example it's hot in the day but night time temps drop drastically in the north they don't harvest till well late in the season without problems

Gotcha. I have a shit-ton of wind, every day. So I hope that helps. And all the strains are mould-resistant (Allegedly) - I've also defoliated the frisian dew, and will do so again in a week or two during flowering. Remove the bottom 1/3, hope that allows some decent airflow and no pockets for water.

The side-project, Sweet Tooth Auto, bonsai, is doing fine, flowering at the moment. I don't care about this one too much, so it's a good chance to practice LST and remove leaves etc and see how an auto handles it. (And see how big of a plant I can get in such a small container)

Ironically, this little plant I have given the least care looks the healthiest of all my plants. Not a deficiency in sight. I haven't ph'ed the water once. I only sprinkled some synthetic fertilizer pellets on the top of the soil a month ago. That's it.

Sweet Tooth Auto getting closer. Hope I can harvest next week. It's weird because it has had cloudy trichomes for about a month now.

I thought normally it took around two weeks from cloudy to amber.

@SouthFloridaGenetics sorry to keep tagging you. But 2 things. I'm starting to see amber trichomes and I'm seeing some weird pistils coming up the top of the bud, you should be able to see it in the picture. Is this foxtailing or something else bad?

Happy Sunday Brother!

Amber trichomes is great, especially when there are more amber than clear or cloudy. I love looking at trichomes. It's one of my favorite things to look at. I bought a small desktop microscope that hooks up to my computer. It was less than $100 and I use the shit out of it. It comes in handy for a lot of things. Plus it takes the picture and saves it.

As for the weird pistols on the top, I do not have much experience with foxtailing. I had an auto flower growing last year that did that. It was not ready to chop and started stacking the calyxes in a peculiar fashion. I let it grow until it was ready. She looked a little odd but was righteous. I don't think its a big deal. What is peculiar to me is that she is outside, most fox tailing I have read about are indoor plants. She is looking good though, and it seems she is very happy. Plant like her fatten up nicely during their last two or so weeks! I know that for sure! I hope you have a nice morning!
