I purposely used autos. Due to not wanting any light problems outside.... someone said it can't be auto if re-vegging... but it wouldn't have flowered in the 1st place if it wasn't an auto...

When was it planted and whats you latitude?

Heavy ruderalis genes. It does rear its ugly head from time to time in autoflowers.

I think this is the answer. Just ruderalis raising it's ugly head. I've had auto's do this when screwing with light schedule...went from 12/12 to 18/6 during flower and they shot single leaves spindly buds off the top of existing buds.
