10 days since 12-12 but they are not tall enough, should I reveg or not?

It has been 10 days since I switched to 12-12 and they started to flower. I have 4 plants and 400+250 watt vertical hood in a 120 cm wardrobe. This time flowering stretch was less than I expected, so they are not tall enough. There is a lot of empty space on the top of the walls and the ceiling. I wish I switched flowering 2 weeks later. What happens if I reveg them for two more weeks? Currently their flowers are just 1” long. 2 weeks of revegging might double the harvest. Will forced revegging harm the plants or cause any problems?

You'll add over a month to your grow cycle and greatly increase the odds of causing some 'nanners to pop out which wouldn't be good for your yield if a bunch of flowers get pollinated.

They should have a couple more weeks of stretch left so I'd carry on as I doubt you would double your yield and getting them done lets you start a new batch that much sooner.

It will take at least 10 days to revert to veg if not closer to 3 weeks then add two weeks veg plus another week or more to get back to flowering and it could add 2 months to your harvest date so I wouldn't do it.

More like 2 months, I don't agree with reveg causing nanners but defiantly not a fast process. I do agree stretch isn't over. Likely that if you flipped to flower early it took 7 to 10 days for flower and stretch hormones to kick in. Def still stretching or about to

if you stress a plant out early by reveg and than switch to flower it can cause hermies

I don't know how to tag you but I thank each and every one of you. I decided not to re-veg after reading your comments.
I have 4 plants. 3 of them are photoperiod strain that I grew before. One is an autoflower that I've kept the seed in the fridge for 7 years. This is how the set up looks like.

This is not the usual set up that I use, it is just a transitional set up. When the stretch is completely over, I will attach all the branches back to the wall. My last harvest was 25 ounces and it was 4 years ago, but even the ceiling was full of buds. So I do feel like I need taller plants.

Notice that the leaves that close the ceiling tends to look like claws. When I go vertical, the leaves that above the upper bulb level and at ceiling always become claws. My guess is the plant is pumping too much nutrients to the top leaves -as it is supposed to do- but the leaves at the ceiling do not get enough light to burn the nutrients, so they become claw, am I right? Do you vertical guys experience similar problems or do I make another mistake?

As I said before 3 of my plants are photoperiod and one is autoflower. This is the auto one. It looks complete failure since the beginning. The leaves looks very unhealthy. The roots, PH and EC look completely normal but the plant is in a terrible state. Could the plant look like this because the seed is so old? The seed was in the fridge for the last 7 years, and it was in the room for an additional 2 years before. I didn't even expect it to germinate. What do you think the problem is? The other 3 photoperiod plants looks healthy.

I agree 100%!!! Do what this person says!!! Dont reveg!!! Just finish and start over.

I made the tube out of transparent vinyl. You might notice that there is additional outer tube, this tube is temporary and it prevents the leaves from getting too close to the lamp and burning, I will remove this outer tube after flowering stretch.

BTW I come back to this forum only once in 4 years because one harvest usually lasts at least 4 to 5 years. None of my friends smoke weeds, so I always smoke alone, which is the reason that I don't have to grow every year.

So after seeing the pictures, do you think flowering stretch is over? I measured that the plants have only grown 1 inch in the last 30 hours.

I would just let her go and keep doing what your doing. What ibe found with autos is that they will surprise you and kick into gear when they want to. Not when u expect it. Im in same boat with my autos. Almost killed one bc she just looked scraggley, but now shes stacking and packing nicely!!! Be patient young grasshopper!!! Lol

I see what your saying about clawing, but that aint the type of clawing im used to seeing. I think your leaves are just bending slightly downward. Probably something to do with light saturation. If you got 25ozs last time out of a 4x4 thats not bad at all. I would just rinse and repeat. Dam man 1.5 lbs last you 4-5years, i commend your self control.lol 3 months or so for me!!! Shit i just smoked my last harvest, 1 lb in about 2 months. I did give about a ounce or 2 away. I need to reevaluate my smoking and vaping habits!!! I need an intervention!!! LMAO

I think my last grow, White Widow, didn't stop stretching until after the 3rd week. Sativa? Indica? Hybrid?

I agree about autoflowers, they act like women who exhibit unpredictable behavior, but things work out in the end. Your plant look great btw.
