Well, I'm ready for a harvest myself! lol . The photos are coming along but nothing quickly. Realizing that when you ran yours it was like 15 weeks? I have a ways to go. The Autos are flying along. I have them staked down tight and I have to move the stakes every other day. I'm gonna get these done and then I'll pop about 20 photos. I believe the sex the cutting technique you mentioned will work most of the time. We shall see. Those are beautiful buds there like always. Your strains always seem to have giant calyx formations. I bet it's a great smoke. Hey, I have a friend here who just decided to start growing and chose Autos for the turnaround time. He just grows for himself. Anyways, I recommended some Mephisto strains and he gave me a couple beans. I was going to save till next run so they're a week old today lol. The cups at the bottom right. Now I just need another light to maximize my space usage.
They are looking good mate, and yeah the calyx’sare swelling but it’s just because I am waiting longer than usual to see if they did or not and have not been disappointed, guess I have been harvesting to early up till now.

Progress in the “mud room” they are nice and healthy. I did my last tie down today, still not sure I am doing it right. Will take a heap of clones and try and thin them out tomorrow..
Fingers crossed though.. the potential for an epic canopy is there. I’ll flip in a week or so I recon and chuck the Scrog net over it all.

I agree. They look fine. You've got them all opened up so they should really take off. I like your scrog style wires. I get alot of enjoyment arranging and re-arranging my canopies. I only have less than 10 plants though so it's not nearly as much work. You did the right thing waiting on those others because they look fantastic. Stuff looking like that goes for $100 a quarter here. Part of what got me growing my own. Mine don't look quite to that level but I can afford to do it at least. If our wreck settlement is decent then my wife has promised me bigger and better gear. Maybe then I'll be able to start growing some stuff like yours.

Pulled everything out of the old growspace and scrubbed it down with Ajax. I put the wire grate back in and put the flowering autos inside. I transplanted the 2 new ones and while I was at it I checked those HP clones I started 3 weeks ago. They both had pretty full root systems so I put them in 1/2 gallon pots of fresh soil. Assuming they live, I'm gonna let them get proper size in 5 or 10 gallon pots and grow them out proper. The BBHP's I have in the closet are kinda hanging where they're at. They're not looking any worse but not much better either. Shoulda used bigger pots and added dry amendments sooner. They're still growing though so .....

Have been in trim jail for two days and for the first time I think I am actually enjoying it.. may be because the flowers I am trimming are all so big and nice but I have good snacks and drinks, a nice fire and a comfy setup with the tv going and am really quite happy this time around. Nice change

I recon I’m going to break my own record this time around too.. I estimate 8lb+ from my two lights.. not bad.

Man I can't wait for my time in trim jail...Smoke is starting to run short. I think I'm gonna make it, but just barely. I'll bet you are having a pretty good time with those beautiful buds! It's nice to be happy with your work. Sharp scissors and a cold beer to ya!

Coming along nicely.. had power outages for three days which was a worry, will have to buy some generators to futureproof against such things. Another week or two and I’ll flip and Scrog.

I finally figured out my problem. I must be brain damaged, because, I have been here before. Summertime, fresh veggies and...Fungus Gnats! I was noticing more than usual for summer but I have forgotten last time when I ended up putting 3/4 of an inch of sand on the top of the soil. Shit, i can't believe I have zero memory of that grow except for busting up the hardened sand after the run. Hey, I guess at least I figured it out. They were in the autos too. I'm buying killing products today. I can't believe I missed this. I know too why yall hydroponics folks didn't know what to tell me. No soil, no gnats. I dug around in the soil of the photos and had little jumpers everywhere. I'm buying peroxide and cider vinegar today! Don't reckon you hydro folks know of a better gnat treatment? Dang I'd like to smell that cola weed.

I use a soil drench of 1-2 oz Monterey Spinosad along with my nutrients every 3-4 days under mostly cleared then once a week as a preventative. Don't feel badly about this just keep hanging in there. I won't tell you how I repeated the same mistake of running flower with my big lights dimmed (twice)

Applied Peroxide solution to all the plants. It's pretty cool how the soil foams up about an inch. Within 30 minutes there were hundreds of gnats piled around the containers. I made up some traps using cider vinegar, sugar water and dish soap covered with plastic wrap with small holes over the top. There were gnats swarming around them when I left them. God I feel so stupid for slipping on this. I'm writing it all down so I don't forget again. Summers here suck. There's PM, Spider Mites, Fungus gnats and a bunch of other shit that screws up a grow. Add a grower doing dumb shit and it's easy to trash a grow. I'm gonna kill these damned gnats though. Book says you can use Sevin dust like on Garden plants and my Dad has plenty of that. They will die...

Good work mate, glad you caught them.. those blasted Gnats are such a pain. Not as bad with hydro but they can still be a pain with the expanded clay if your not careful.

Plants looking alot less stressed this morning. I know it'll still be days before I really see a difference but there are piles of dead gnats around the containers, so, I feel pretty certain this was it. Hard to believe I missed it so long but, I was searching the foliage for pests ,ignoring the damned soil. They are really bad this year and we've had alot of fruits and veggies. Ive turned up the fans. It would suck to have alot of plants and have to treat this. Oh well, live and learn.

Man, it looks like somebody poured out a pepper shaker next to those photos. I guess since they were the oldest, that they were teeming with gnats. Last night there were piles of dead bugs but when I ran my hand through the canopy, they flew everywhere. Today, it's a void in there. I might have seen 2 in the entire room. Same thing with the autos. Little flecks everywhere but the plants are praying. I screwed up on 1 and ( I knew better, just tight and didn't want to waste leftover nutes) fkn burned a few leaves last feed. Straight water this time and only fresh mixed nutes from now on. Those clones are still alive. Tops are greening up again and new leaves are starting to grow underneath. The other Hashplants are coming along.
Starting to get a pretty spicy minty smell to them. I think even though they're not gonna
produce much, what they do produce will be good.

Good work on the pest control mate.

Im pretty amazed. It's only been 8 weeks maybe a couple days more and 1 of the BBHP's is looking really close to done. I didn't thin it out earlier because of the leaf issues. But, they reek and I just looked through the loupe, and this 1 has 25% amber trichs. The buds are hard and even looking down deep, they appear finished. If only I hadn't had the problems and had defoliated it in time then maybe the buds woulda got bigger. But, it is what it is. The other 1 still has alot of clear so another couple weeks there. The autos should start finishing end of next month so at least I'll have smoke. Though small, these babies stink up half the house. Had to call an electrician to fix lightning damage and I played it off like I just smoked a joint when he got here. I called my joint Delta 8 and he said ," I wish my Delta 8 smelled like that!" Can't wait to smoke some.

I went back and checked. It's been 8 weeks 4 days. This pheno and the way it was treated probably caused this. They aren't big,fat buds. But, they're rock hard and plentiful. I'm just happy they made it after the struggles. Did I mention the smell? I sure need to obtain the fan and carbon filter for my tent before running any more of these. And, a bunch of incense for if anybody stops by. I'm gonna let this one go till the first of the week or so. Smells like a sweet hashy smell. Not even any green grass smell. It smells like kief. Can't wait to smoke some.
