Seed Harvest Question

Hey guys. I got some experience growing indoors but never done any breeding. I'm off grid now so got a little outdoor grow. Got some starts from a friend's crop and ended up with 2 males and 3 fems. Since i don't have any seeds i decided to let them pollinate and make a seed batch. I left them for a couple weeks after my first white hairs then chopped the boys. Is it normal for some of the seed pods to be changing colors and splitting before the rest of the plant is ready? I think i still have some time to go on my plants and i guess i assumed everything would all be ready at the same time. The seeds look good. Thanks!

Like you, I've got one that's going to be a seed crop. Been curious as well. Glad you posted the question.

Mine was pollinated right at the beginning of flower. Possibly 1 or 2 weeks into flower. I'm hoping they'll be in the buds and hang on til the flower is ready for harvest.

I've considered pulling the seeds that are located at each branch fork/node early so they don't fall out and end up on the ground.

Any idea what you've crossed to get the seeds?

I've been picking mine as they come. Some are splitting and about halfway out so i don't think waiting is gonna work lol. I have no ideas the strain. My source has been growing their own and keeping their seed for years and idk their origins. I'll post a pic up later when i get back.
