finally someone who agrees with me about Canna, haha.
believe me dude, I have tried! he's a dirt grower so I've tried all sorts of recommendations, from mykos to sea bird shit, the fucker is stubborn as a mule!
in the 80s he used to grow NL in a barn down Southampton, he's a crazy fucker but won't change for no one.
I like biobizz if it's from a bottle myself and aye I've argued with a few on here years back over it I can taste it when it's grown with canna

sorry for the lack of posting lately, I've been experiencing some issues that I can't seem to get a hold of.
I've been getting my next run ready for a few weeks, I let them get quite big in 0.5 litre coco but they've taken to it like champs up untill I put them under the big led. I had them bottom feeding in the veg tent under a small led Array1.
I put them into the tent which had the BG in after a little clean... not deep clean.
switched the big led to 40% and raised the pots from the tray to get some run off.
My feed ratio hasn't changed. EC 1.4-1.5 PH 5.8-6.1.
I've now just drenched rather than bottom feed. give or take 10-14 days later and in getting dry tops, blotting, purple stems, thin veiny leafs, purpling of tips, lowers are showing some from of damage.
roots look healthy, I have 3 smaller cuts all from same batch of cutting which are half the size but healthy.
I've flushed them all at 5.9ph and 1.4 EC run off 5.9ph 1.6EC.
any ideas would be appreciated. 20240908_125143.jpg20240908_124910.jpg

that's exactly what I though with the potassium...? yeah seen that too, had a look at the new growth and along the veins of the leaf and can't see anything yet. il give them a dose of nukem just to be safe.
25-28c 60-70 rh lights on 15-19c 75-80rh lights off.

dry sift through a trim tray. I'm sure it's 90micron... could even be 120? not bad for a light screening of trim, maybe 5 mins rubbing per scoop.
the question is now, to press or not to press?

Indeed RIP Frenchy. I watched every video he was present in and made himself. It was through Subcools videos. Loved his contrasting ideas with Bubbleman.
I used to microplane my bubble over pizza boxes then collect ut and press using Frenchys method. Made me some lovely temple balls.... I'll definitely use this method for the sift, I was thinking of just working it with my hands but it's a dirty method. Guess il dig out the old glass vodka bottle tonight.

Yeah man rip Frenchy I learned alot about hash from that dude bubble is nice too but you can't beat dry sift it's just that cut above as he said if you don't press it it's not hash the press / decarb and mashing all those resin heads together is where the magic s at you can hand press too it's just a lil more time consuming anyway using the bottle method and assuming starting material is good work it like 30 or 40 mins give you something akin to Moroccan if you keep working it it will go that darker way like afghan black eventually anyways alot of his videos are still on YouTube too

Well I didn't know the comparison of afghani or Moroccan when pressed longer or shorter! I think I might split it in half and try both. I've turned sub par 160 bubble into nice hash buy pressing it for a long time.
