interesting, ive seen ppl do 4 plants per sqft, was wondering if that could be pushed to like 9?Wait till there ten inches tall to flip to flower.
One plant per sq ft.
Trim when you flip, lollypop at week3
Hang dry whole 60f and 60rh for two weeks then trim
like 5 inches small?i've seen a lot of sogs with 4 plants per sq ft in 1 gallon pots. not sure how tall they are when they were flipped. probably small.
Lol i think your biting off more than you can chewDepends how much it stretches. If you run a stretchy sativa you don't even to veg after rooting because it stretches so much. If it's an indica you might want to veg it for a few days. Even if you veg them too long you can lollipop the bottom part so the plants don't turn into bushes.
Any legit sog is going to have 4 plants per square ft. So that's 64 plants in a 4x4. If you did 9 plants per sq ft that would be 144 plants, are you prepared to take that many cuttings? You would have to take at least 200 to account for one's that don't root and any uneven clones. I think 9 would be way to packed and a lot more work compared to 4.
You know cannabis plants get bigger in flower right?interesting, ive seen ppl do 4 plants per sqft, was wondering if that could be pushed to like 9?
thanks. when plants are close together, PM and bugs and budrot become more common? why is that? any tips on combating them?Lol i think your biting off more than you can chew

4x4 space.. 4-9 plants per sq ft . Lol do you realize how much work that is?
You could grow one plant in the space if you just veg it longer .
And when i say one per foot, wait till their 10 inches , its so that they are mature enough with a decent root system to support making real buds..
And the difference in veg time is maybe a week. Im sure your able to spare one whole week .
Your going to realize quick that plant count doesnt equal more bud.
If your room isnt dialed in nd you dont know what your doing, your going to run into problems having them packed together so close
- your light wont make it thru the canopy
- powdery mildew/bugs
- budrot
If i were you id grow maybe one plant in that space until you get you setup tweeked and working correctly .
Any time where you have plants leaves overlapping or poor airflow, have run the risk .thanks. when plants are close together, PM and bugs and budrot become more common? why is that? any tips on combating them?
not going for 9, just was wondering in terms of proper sogging and min/maxing stuff out of curiosity
How many grows do you have under your belt? Worry about getting everything dialed in properly then worry how many you can stuff in. Personally I like to give them space to optimize growth, yields and accessibility. But I also have more than enough room and experience.thanks. when plants are close together, PM and bugs and budrot become more common? why is that? any tips on combating them?

So whatever happened with your SOG and are you an experienced grower now? Give us something OP!Wondering if people have tested this and if there was a number or range that maximizes yield/quality?
I can fit 5 same strain autos in 3 gallon fabric pots in a 3/3 the smaller the pot the more plants, its a very enjoyable experiment to do. Please post your progress would like to see what others accomplishWondering if people have tested this and if there was a number or range that maximizes yield/quality?
