Tropical Storm Helene

We’ve got a bad storm rolling through and I don’t want my late stage plants to mold up. Should I got for an early harvest or should I try to move them under the porch and ride the weather out? I’m worried the RH combined with rain and wind is going to create issues.

They are calling for 6 to 12 inches here by end of the weekend. Has been raining since night before last. Mine are halfway thru so they're gonna have to ride this out.

Next break in rain I get I'm doing some support work. Some are bending and twisting way too much for my liking.

Hope y'all get through this just fine.

Hope yall ride it out in good spirits as well. I probably should add some supports my girls are bent over a good bit.

I covered Betty lastnight. Glad I did. She's to far in to risk it and not far along to chop........

Painters plastic works great in a pinch. I threw up 6, poles all around her. Put two longer ones right down the middle by her trunk and threw the plastic over and tied the corners to some poles. Working like a charm. She's dry and it's been coming down pretty good.

I had to chop tops on some that wasn't near done yesterday. They were starting to rot on tips of calyxes.

Probably pulling this girl doen today. Assuming she still there. Wind has been insane.

Also pulled a top off another that had caterpillar damage. Trimmed it up. Thinking the whole plant could come down top.

We've had 11+ inches of rain already since tuesday. The hard stuff just started last night.

Lotta cannabis been ruined thanks to Helene. That's my assumption.

i'm in southwest ohio. my two girls are riding out the wind and rain today, more rain tomorrow. next week is dry as a bone so i'm hoping that i don't have too much damage or rot from the rain. it's actually the wind today - 25-35 sustained with 60mph gusts for about 10 hours - that i'm more concerned with. i still have at least three weeks left before harvest, fingers crossed!

The rain and wind are over for us. Lots of clean up, but my girls survived. They’re a little beaten and leaning but the buds are dry and the stems are in tact.
Praying for you brother. I'm hoping to push a few more weeks. I am going to a few branches today as my dry space is limited and the rest in 2 weeks(pending no major issues) she's fading pretty fast though now.

Towns around me are underwater. Dams gave way I reckon. Another dam close to breaching I hear. This was crazy!

Went to check my big girl last night and all the tops were snapped over. So brought them in. Evidently the caterpillars took refuge in the flowers. Hahahaha.

This solidifies my thinking. Greenhouse only if I'm gonna use the sun. Too much effort to end like this. Damn helene!

I'm going to greenhouse it next year. Already told the wife it's happening. I'm in the north east. We only got rain late Wednesday and most of Thursday. Looking dry for the next 3-4 days. Preying for all you that were effected.
