do people still use trichs to determine harvest time? I think a wider shot of a whole bud would be a better way for most people to make a determination.
hard to say from the pics honestly, whats the rest of the plant look like? outdoor? indoor? strain?
when in doubt, I always take a sample, dry it for 3-5 days, sample it and then decide if I think its ready, if nothing else gives you a few extra days before chop.

Looks good honestly, but 10 days can make a big difference. I hear you on bud rot, its a part of the game, seek out strains that are resistant to bud rot and try to learn how to catch it early and remove those areas. Big buds are almost always going to be susceptible as moisture is created via dew inside the buds and breeds the rot.
Hard to say without seeing recent pics but those buds in the pics have at least 2-4 weeks id say, outdoors can be a real challenge with the elements depending on location.
one more note I am assuming these were from seed, most strains grown from seed will not be 'identical' and will express different traits kind of like how siblings can be similar but different. If these were fems that's still the case. Some strains from seed do really express nearly identical plants but there tends to still be a little variation. @Senokai and I have some strains that should be great for mold and rot resistance if you are ever interested hit us up or check out our site :)
