Ah,i see....he advertises hlvd free
Well, many say that & people still get the virus from them. So that's why there's so much discussion on the topic. I got 4 clones from Homegrownursery and just tossed one b/c it had all 3 leaf leaves, which is either genetic or stress. I looked them up and despite their website, which looks good, it appears they operate out of a home based on CA secretary of state research. I haven't tested, but I'm going to run the other 3 and see how they flower & bleach clean everything afterwards.

If you aren't testing the clones yourself it's probably best to not buy any from the net. I've seen many reputable vendors end up passing it to others. It's just a matter of time. A lot are also in it for a fast cash grab and don't care if they are selling infected cuts.

Seeds def can have hlvd (depending on who says it, 5-15%) , u can also show clean and this is why every labs suggest for hlvd to test monthly .

ive even see people lab test positive and get clean cuttings off fresh and retrial it and still not show dirty. interesting but not cemented or “proven” but thought that was interesting, basically new growth is beating the hlvd infection depending on the pressure/infection %

So in 10ish years it will be 100%
Before legal and rec states these labs couldnt lab test it, before This there was many reports and discussion of what many people called “dudding”. I can def see in next few years exp when big pharm and big ag gets involved they will def have their breed stock and moms disease tested heavily (every other ag does ) and there’s def reason why.

well u can be as sarcastic as you want but these things do exist exp in farming and it’s a huge issue.its not like it’s only hlvd ethier cause there’s many diseases besides even hlvd are def confirmed in cannabis . It’s hard to test many virus/disease things cause a test for hlvd won’t find the other issues and its cost factor exp for small growers and must be done not just once . But I can def see it getting better and more on-site testing and cost but also if bought seeds or clones they will also have it tested for the well known diseases. Some breeders are already doing that for cannabis
