Hey, ya'll do it your way. I just call it like I see it, and I've seen a lot of shit over the decades.
| My soil was over 3 years old

Wow, you are some kind d of special. I'm thinking you have your tinfoil hat just a little to tight.
Well there is proof with the positive test for hlv i got. That proved to me that the dudding I experienced and documented on this site was from hlv. Well it couldn't have some from anywhere but the clones I had brought in. My soil was over 3 years old along with my keeper mom's. So literally nothing changed other than the clones I brought in. One was infected and infected my whole garden. Tossed everything and haven't seen the hlv since.i hope to never see it again.
Anyways believe whatever you like but please stop spreading your misinformation. You would think the mods would step in with this type of misinformation nonsense.
I hope you never have to experience hlv
Happy Growing
JB
What dirty cuts brought it to your gardens? Please don’t listen to this person. We’ve had this same conversation on here before with a similar individual in the past. It’s just outright ridiculous to claim it doesn’t exist.
Hops latent viroid has been well documented in hops since the 70’s. It is not exactly known when it crossed over to cannabis but it has been decimating gardens for a while.
I ended up with it in my garden by getting clones from someone reputable here. Be smart and practice good sop’s when acquiring new cuts folks!
I got a few cuts from auntie janes nursery a few years ago. He had a gushmints that he didn't know was infected. A bunch of plants on my second flower run dudded on me. So I had them all tested and sure enough hlv positive. I brought it to his attention and he has been shut down since. What dirty cuts brought it to your gardens?
or SFV OG which was known for three finger leavesall 3 leaf leaves
Why would an entomologist care? This is the virologist's wheelhouse. Anyway it's a known disease. There's no question about it's existence now. I lost a table to dudding very early on. It was HLVD. Here ya go check the bibliography on that. That's the full text:Also no absolute proof it exists outside of academic research. The entomologists are still pushing back, there is no consensus here.
.....snip......
Sadly I believe I got mine from seedPlease don’t listen to this person. We’ve had this same conversation on here before with a similar individual in the past. It’s just outright ridiculous to claim it doesn’t exist.

I think if you are bringing clones in you need a quarantine setup and until you are sure there are no bugs or disease (testing services are going to be the new gold rush) keep it there. Yep, definitely learned the hard way. They were bug free, but unfortunately they had hlv. They had been tested for hlv from the person i got them from, so I assumed they were good.I think if you are bringing clones in you need a quarantine setup and until you are sure there are no bugs or disease (testing services are going to be the new gold rush) keep it there. Yes and the viroid doesn't appear in newer growth immediately is my understanding. So you can end up with a false negative. It's sad and it's showing up all over the world, sigh.Yep, definitely learned the hard way. They were bug free, but unfortunately they had hlv. Now I quarantine everything I bring in until it's tested by me through tumi.
When i got it they had literally just started root testing, which they say is 100% accurate as far as I know. Before that they would test leaf and stem i think, which is not very accurate.Yes and the viroid doesn't appear in newer growth immediately is my understanding. I hope you're right although if you look at the bib. of what I posted I'm doubting it.When i got it they had literally just started root testing, which they say is 100% accurate as far as I know. Before that they would test leaf and stem i think, which is not very accurate.
Now they ask for root and leaf/stem samples from different spots on the plant.
Hopefully it starts to fade with all the testing going on now.
Sadly it isHLVD is not in seed...
He might’ve had it before and didn’t even know. I tossed out a bunch of stuff in 2020ish, none of it from him but I suspect we were grabbing stuff from the same vendor in California that went out of business shortly after.I got a few cuts from auntie janes nursery a few years ago. He had a gushmints that he didn't know was infected. A bunch of plants on my second flower run dudded on me. So I had them all tested and sure enough hlv positive. Have you used these vendors?Cloud Life -
Best underground clone source on strainly.
Cloney Soprano -
Still has the largest clone list on strainly.
Hash Nerd -
Has a nice list of clones
All Star Clones -
Best clone source for trusted strains
I wouldn't say Cloney's library is 100% verified... some of the cuts are as verified as other clone vendors out there... I have nothing against Cloney, just sayin he isn't the second coming of clone Jesus.I didn't want to bring up cloney because i knew he had some other issues...
But his clone stock is STILL massive
An his genetics are verified...
With that many cuttz
I knew he was bound to get hlvd somewhere
Him an All Star Clones are the largest verified clone holders in the Game.
If I had any advice for cloney it would be to test for HLVD an trash what doesn't make the cut..
He can always rehunt what he lost.
Testing will get his good name back in order.
With the Volume that cloney has -- Testing is going to cost a GRIP. If Kamala Harris takes office we can bank on federal legalization....cloney would have the clone market in a vice grip with HLVD Testing.
Just my 2 cent
