That is awesome. I have never visited a dispensary or bought cannabis legally in the US. Actually haven't bought cannabis in over 15 years. I might, someday, but what if I get hooked???
I haven't been inside a dispensary either. I have a few friends that have connections. They pay prices for weed that I simply refuse to. Now some of the places are selling eigths for $85! My poor ass wouldnt even bother. But, occasionally, I have swapped favors and they paid in weed. What's awesome is that now I'm able to grow all we require and it's just as good as most of that dispo weed. Mine might look a little raggly from lax trimming but it's still pretty good. They actually have stores around here now called dispensaries. But, most of em are just peddling Delta-8 and CBD. A few are starting to carry what is labeled THC-A flower. As long as it has less than .3% Delta-9, then it's considered Hemp. So, all it is is regular flower harvested a little early so there's almost no D9. It's still $20 for 1.5g. My stuff is next level to anything I've seen from there so I'm sure they make a ton.

It's getting near harvest time for the GGautos that I started first back on August 22nd. They took forever to finally recover from the gnats. I'm finally seeing frosty buds on the lanky one. The stocky short one is ready. She's been foxtailing for the last week while I've waited. I hoped it would fatten up, but, it just greened back up and foxtailed. The lanky one has got some solid, if ugly, colas on it. If I had to guess, I'm guessing a qp off her. I guess 3 zips off the other. That's 1 thing about most of the ILGM autos. They take longer but can get pretty big. A month ago I would have been surprised to get 2 zips total with the gnat issue. It's crazy that those Mephisto plants will be finished in 3-4 weeks. They're starting to fatten up fast. New seeds arrive next week.

I'm reading up. I have been debating on changing growing style. But, I really like it when I get the soil right. I'm lazy and when you have a good soil grow going with a healthy biome of beneficial nutrients, it grows itself. Just add water. I found this Down to Earth brand of dry amendments and they are working. Scratch a couple tablespoons in every 2-3 weeks and next watering use Recharge. After that just water (maybe some Cal-Mag occasionally) I want to learn Hydroponics but I want to be able to buy the right stuff and not half ass it. I've recently stumbled onto stuff I was collecting before the wreck. Stuff to make my own Supersoil mix. Bags of Dolemite lime, Bone Meal,Langbeinite,Perlite, Worm Castings etc. Found my notes with it. No wonder I've been having issues other than the gnats.

I did super soil for a long time, and had great results. I eventually got tired of mixing soil, and brewing compost tea. So I switched to synthetic salts and I really didn't notice too big of a difference, except it was easier to keep a mother happy long term.

Using autopots and coco/perlite 50/50 I've got very little to do after flowering gets going except fill the reservoir, my buddy even went on holiday and left his autopots to it...no problems.

They're seriously easy to grow with and with test I done were equally healthy compared to dtw.

This ^^^ isn't the same...but it is really, I just pour around 600ml 1.2ec in the tray and I'm done for the day.

Fungus gnats omg they were driving me crazy but I've got them beat now i think?
20241024_144836.jpg
I tried mosquito bits daily and H202 up to 1.5% but they didn't work too well?

So I've sealed up the pots with plastic to keep them in/out.

They don't appear to breed sealed inside, maybe just getting stuck in the moisture film idk, my pots are all clean now...maybe a few stragglers to come.

Like @Star Dog said about having very little to do I'm trying a autopot for the first time and so far I'm really liking it. (I even ordered another to add next grow) The only thing I've had to do is refill the rez. I was running drain to waste before and while it did a very good job, there was more work involved. At least for me anyway.
I can do dirt outside in the ground but I just don't have much luck in pots. Hydroponics has been great for me. I'll try to post a pic of my GG4 in week 8 flower later. She's almost done!

I sure feel ya on the fungus gnats. I actually tried BTi dunks ground up and watered in, and peroxide drenches. Meh results. I asked @Buddzbudha for help and he turned me on to using the peroxide mixture to mist the top inch or 2 of soil couple times a day and by the end of the week they were gone. I've also used 1/4 inch sand on top which I guess was kinda like your bags. It works but the roots choke. Looks like you did alright with the plastic. I've thought of taping my wife's old pantyhose over the top so the soil could still breathe but the gnats died before I tried that experiment. I was feeling stupid for letting them get in but I guess it can happen to any of us. Hey dude, I'm wanting to go Coco or Promix soon. I may holler at you for a little advice occasionally if ya don't mind.

I got up this morning and the tall GGauto had changed alot. Now every fan leaf left( there were only a few) was turning yellow and she's quit drinking. I looked through the loupe and it's almost all cloudy. No clear and few amber. Chopped it down. The bushy shorter one was ready too so I chopped it too. From the Mephisto plants, CDLC is ready and Ripley's OG is all cloudy trichs but only about half the pistils have turned so she'll wait awhile. The new seeds have popped tails but will be better suited to plant tomorrow. It's crazy how sometimes you wait for months and then one day everything has changed. I'm upgrading my drying a little. I'm hanging these from the tent frame in the walk in instead of just squeezing them between clothes on hangars lol.

A picture of the whole plant could be helpful.

Some older photos. Grown in about 17 to 19 gallons of soil, Three plants in one bin. Mostly using Roots organics dry amendments with some Fox farm liquid trio for emergency deficiencies. A bit of a Synganic approach But I feel like I had too much plant mass compared to soil. Ended up with A little bit of leaf decay when it comes to the lower growth.

Gorilla glue flower dry . Extreme lemon/skunk terps with earthy skunky taste .
Can’t wait to try it again in 3 weeks after sealing in grove bags

I yielded 64.5 ounces off my two largest phenos , the other two yielded 50 ounces .
Almost 10 lbs from 4 mothers - grown in northern NY - where people say we don’t have the climate for big big plants .
next year I’m growing 6 plants in 200 gallon holes - that are being started indoors in February - to be allowed to veg for 3 months IMG_3888.jpegIMG_3884.jpegIMG_3886.jpeg

@DoubleD5374 holy moly that's a nice haul you've made, it's a lot of weed I don't fancy your trimming job tho lol.
You’re not kidding . I had 80 greasy runtz mothers , and they were so easy to trim , this stuff is a nightmare lol. Next year I’m growing apes in space , GYAT , white truffle , cap junky , forbidden fruit and sweat helmet . If I can get my hands on a legit gg4 cut , I’ll most likely run that as well.

my goal is to hit 5 lbs per plant next year. I think if it start them indoors in February , and out out in may st 6 foot tall already , and lst , illl get there
