Hey everyone. I need opinions please. My GG Genetics GG4 will be 70 days in flower tomorrow and it still has white pistils and the trichomes are all clear still. She is foxtailing some also. There is a lot of purple leaves and I've pulled quite a few dead leaves off.
The plant looks done to me but the white pistils and clear trichs say otherwise. What would y'all do? Leave her another week?
She is supposed to be a 58-63 day plant and I know I can't go by that strictly but 70 days? Or more?
Opinions?

No opinions, huh?

Sorry for the delay. GG4, ime, can continue throwing out pistils seemingly forever even when well ripe.

Inserting full pics instead of thumbnails would make it easier to see them.
Ok. So I won't worry about the white pistils but I guess I'll have to wait for the clear trichs to change.
Sorry about the thumbnails. I assumed everyone knew you could click on them to enlarge.

It's an extra step and the resolution isn't the same. I know there are people here who won't expand a thumbnail. Anyway your plants look fine, keep on keeping on. It can't be long now.

Here's a preview of those genetics:

This is today. That dust is pollen. I crossed it with Reserva Privada Kosher Kush since I was doing a preservation run of my KK's older genetics and had a few extra clones so I tossed them in. These just got moved from the flower room where they do their stretch to my tall tent for finishing. If you look up and straight ahead you see my twin tall tent for finishing so if anything runs longer I had a matching set up so I'm no longer hurt on my perpetual cycle if something runs longer and away we go!

Love the setup. Sounds like a good cross in the making.

Running this same gorilla glue clone again that I've got from breeders seed company. So far this is the healthiest I've seen in early flower and I'm hoping to you similar with a squatter plant overall. If she gets over 5 oz I'm happy. This is in a 17 to 18 gallon sterilite plastic bin using Fox farm ocean Forest soil with roots organics dry amendments. Occasionally using recharge in a compost tea, otherwise dechlorinated tap water only. I'm super excited to see how she finishes, because I feel like my last harvest was too early and I feel like I'm missing out on some of those longer run flavors. Although of course it took me 10:00 to 11 weeks just to get to that point anyway, But I'm in a colder climate. Cheers!

Even the GG autos that I've run have pretty often acted that way. I just figured it was some ILGM BS. I had one this last run that was 20+% amber trichs and it was still tossing white pistils.

I can't wait to start the KK that I have. The cultivar sounds like the type of stuff I like. Happy Thanksgiving A

Sorry if I'm reposting but this has made beating the gnats much simpler. Wife wasn't thrilled. These are brand new lol. I pointed out it's a worthy sacrifice for the grow. I learned the hard way to make sure to press down when watering or it runs off lol. I've thought of bottom watering till the few hatchlings the next few days are dead. If I make the top inhospitable, maybe they'll die faster.

Gnats are a total nightmare to deal with, after sealing them it was 2 months and more before they eventually stopped hatching out of the coco.

Mesh is a better option I just didn't have any handy at the time.

I've since got mesh bags but I don't feel there's a hurry to change them they're doing fine.
Geez! 2 months in coco? Wow. I'm going to have to BTi them several times too, it sounds like. Yes, I've had it out with a few people that claim the only reason for gnats to exist is overwatering. I've disproven that a few times. I left plants this summer till they wilted before watering and the gnats never vanished. Soon as you water they return. Hopefully our sealing the medium is going to beat them

Fwiw 3wks previous to putting the pots in bags I'd been using mosquito bits daily I think it reduce the numbers but it didn't finish them off.

If you're bored a 1-4 mixture (20%) of isopropyl alcohol + wetting agent sprayed lightly on the top of the coco makes the larvae surface right away.

Then you can cut them in half it's effective for a home approach.
