Am i harvesting correctly? **pics included**

hi,

one of my AK-48 is very very near completion :)

it has been my first grow so i am one happy bunny!

i cut off some small buds just now and gave them a quick "trim"

what and exactly how much should i take off?

i've been cutting off the leafs basically. small or large.

well it looks like your doing a good job to me,
always remember the degree to which buds are trimmed
is entirely a matter of personal preference.

which is why growing your own pot is wonderful1
i like to pluck my finished plants while they are still on the stock,
just hold a branch with one hand as you pinch the leaf tips and pull away from the plant with your other hand. ofcourse starting with larger fan leaves and working your way to the smallest

its fun, faster and when your all finished you roll your fingers together
and ball up some finger hash to reward yourself

thats what i did last night and im stiill smoking dank ass finger hash all day today....

I'm liking your way of harvest dude, sounds like fun especially the fingure hash as i am a big fan of fingure hash,must try it with a few of my plants come harvest..!!

As for your buds here dude there seriously nice and dense thick looking..

i highly recommend it !
i think it also looks better than
doing it with scissors.

Definately gonna give it a go for sure, get al that nice sticky stuff on my fingures instead of the scissors, lol

haha no problem.
and in a way i fell anyone on here growing
deserves to know some new or good techniques
which is why i like talking to people on RIU

Thats true dude, this place is the best for growing and general information on Cannabis.
This placce never stops amazing me with its serious wealth of knowlege on the subject of Cannabis
