Exploring the Benefits of CBD in Everyday Wellness

CBD has taken the wellness world by storm, with people using it for everything from stress relief to better sleep. But what makes CBD so popular, and how does it actually work in our bodies? Derived from hemp, CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it won’t get you high, but it’s believed to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating mood, pain, and overall balance. Many users swear by its ability to reduce anxiety, alleviate chronic pain, and even enhance focus. Have you tried CBD for wellness?

What’s are your take on its effectiveness, and how do you incorporate it into your routine?

Slathered on topical CBD w/ lavender/camomile balms at night, (200+mg doses). Was vital in helping me get to sleep while kicking alcohol addiction.

The short answer: I use CBD regularly. My favorite brand is Wyld. They have tonics and gummies with THC and without.

If you're looking for salve or topical. Mary's Medicinals have been good for me as well.

With edibles, I tend to go for no THC to help keep my tolerance in check.

When I was a budtender, we carried Wyld brand gummies and they are a great product. All natural, no artificial colors or preservatives, and very effective.
They have hybrid flavors, but they also have strain specific flavors. Indica & Sativa.

I'm sensitive to Sativa strains. Sativas increase my anxiety. It may be the terpene limonene, I'm still experimenting with different terpenes to narrow it down, but strains high in Limonene, make me a little uncomfortable. Like paranoid and anxious uncomfortable.

I prefer, and look for indicas that are high in Caryophyllene and Mycene.

We all have different chemistry and our cannbinoid reccepters will process terpenes differently from individual to individual. Unfortunately, trial and error. Low and slow is the way to go.

The Wyld brand elderberry with CBN has helped me sleep as well the THC version. no matter the brand, check the terpenes. CBN will help with sleep, while Pinene, Myrcene, Linalool will help with pain.
Look beyond indica and sativa. Terpenes are the key.
