@raratt those pics I took were up stunt road, going back down into the Topanga side. Figured you’d know where that is
I only went down Topanga Canyon road once, I mostly stayed up north a ways, rode the back way into Malibu a few times on Kanan Dume Rd to PCH, then back north. Had to find the twisties for the motorcycles. Edit: Our destination was always the Rock Store on Mulholland Dr by Cornell.

Just got through to my neighbor, he’s riding it out at home. Neighborhood is still standing as of this morning at 9:30am. Said our house was good, the trees didn’t come down from the wind.

Still extremely volatile, with fire advancing, but the wind is blowing away from us, so it’s burning towards us at a much slower rate
Good to hear you're safe. Hopefully this all dies down soon. They say the winds should during the day but might start up again tonight.

Last I heard is it was gonna be gusty on and off through Friday. Doesn’t help that we haven’t gotten any rain since last March basically. Hopefully it dies down enough so they can get some super tankers in the air and drop red goop(phos-chek).

They have some medium air tankers on it now. Click on the silhouette to see what the aircraft is, some of them don't show what they are.

Ok what kind of what's going on here lol
My wife has returned home,

They have given her a prescription for ELIQUIS, a blood thinner.
She will likely have to stay on this for the foreseeable future, as it will take a long time for the clots to dissolve.

She is still a little weak and gets winded easy.

Thank you, Jeff and everyone for the prayers and good vibes, we need all the help we can get.

That's great news, Lokie. I think it is good to be on a blood thinner as we age, as it seems like so many die from clots from either heart attack, stroke, and PE like your wife developed. A good buddy of mine died last summer of a PE, he was 63 and in fantastic shape. Never had a health issue before that. A blood thinner seems like a good preventative...
