Preach!!!! My guy!!

I've heard this misconception just within this last week or 2, landrace have a tendency to stress more. .............. not my landrace's.-shrug-
Yeah it's a strange one to me and it depends how selected and adapted what you have is to your situation also some stuff is more sexually stable than others also ganja types as a General rule are far more selected than hashplant types it makes sense though when you consider there use hash is just it all amalgamated together so individual plant potency isn't so important Vs for if you are smoking it as bud either way they will be tougher than our indoor only stuff in alot of ways for sure

This really depends on the source of the beans from the beginning. But I do agree with the potential variable that some have a tendency to stress when taken out of their natural environment , and environment that has sustained several generations prior to the harvesting of acquired seed. This is where I value the old school breeders and strain hunters, they've put in alot of the work to fine out the kinks with the Old School Genetics that we have available today. Credit owed, where credit is due.

Oh yeah what you have to begin with matters big time of course and yes indoors is almost alien to them they need to be selected and adapted to it in time

There too complex and been Molly coddled too long to be like that however if you reintroduce some tough landrace genes to some of the more modern stuff and hunt through that you should find the best of both worlds in some of them at least you will find most landraces don't want alot of feed either as there used to having alot less also I maybe just feeling my age but when the hell did exotic start meaning modern multi poly hybrid stuff Vs actual exotic import type stuff? I've seen a few folk call modern stuff this btw it's not just you bud
When I say exotic , I mean stuff that traces more recently back to the more hard to get stuff that originated in exotic locations. Afghani, Hashplants even Northern Lights. I'm in NC. It's pretty inhospitable for many of these Jungle and Mountain strains. They either cook or mold outdoors. Back in the 80's/90's we seldom saw anything but Mexican sativa. We still get no exotic imported stuff. Around this time of year we'd get Christmas Tree from Kentucky and Skunk from...around. But, for most of the folks I know, Most of these modern polyhybrids are exotic weed lol. The fact that I can just name the strain is a big thing for them. And, shit, don't even mention Autoflowers. Minds get blown. I guess I slipped. Sorry. You can substitute modern mass produced polyhybrids for exotic if that works. Honestly, I don't know what those old strains were. But, they came from Mexico, brought by a Mexican with 100+ pounds of near identical and often seedy as hell heavy Sativa stuff. But, the shit grew well everywhere I tried.

They had many different lines so narrowing down what Mexi you got might be pretty hard to do these days

I'm not even worried about that anyways. I've always preferred Indica dominant strains which none of those old brickweed strains were. I just wish these strains I order would grow with so little effort. I had some 10+ yr old (then) bagseed 4 years ago that I found in the freezer and stuck a couple in my wife's porch flower pot. These old ass seeds got nothing but abuse and indifference and just water until I saw pistils and fed Miracle Grow flower formula. They got almost 7 feet tall in 4 gallon containers. Buds were pretty decent. It got me growing again and I bought lights and ordered seeds. I just miss how easy that stuff grew. Now, even the commercial weed is grown in the US according to my friend who still buys 50-100 lbs at a time. Everything now comes with the strain written on the bales in magic marker. He had G45 last month. Never seeds anymore. I'm thinking whoever grew that stuff runs a big operation and sells what they can legally and the rest.......Here,there are 'Dispensaries' that sell "THC-A" bud that is classified hemp as long as there's under .01 Delta 9. So... most any bud that's harvested a touch early. Nuts.

They're the 8" 2 gallon floraflex pots. Perfect size if you're not spending much time in veg.
Thank you. I have 1 gallons now I plan on running for flower with a 14 to 21 day veg. *veg being; once they show roots at the bottom of solo cups and are transplanted to the 1gal. If that makes any sense. BTW I'm running 8 1 gallon in my 2x4
