Not sure what’s going on first time trying coco. I ,transplanted into coco from bad soil not long ago. They are now in coco 10gallon fabric pots. Running advanced connoisseur grow, b-52, cal mag, silica si power, voodoo plus, bud candy in tap starting at 140ppm raising to 1150 ppm at 6-6.5 ph. Run off comes out at what I put in beside lower ph down to about 5.4- 5.8. A lot are Turing bright yellow but shouldn't be lacking anything and have purple/ red serrations and some are getting it interveinial. Any help much appreciated thanks! I'm in mother’s earth coco perlite 70/30.

If you're using tap water why are you using calmag?
Your ppm is really high.
Looks like a case of bottle fever to me.

What is your feeding schedule?
Why a 10 gallon pot? You can grow a tree in a 2 gallon pot.

Ppm is actually low for recommended, because I am in coco that’s what the cal mag is for . I am running under half recommended on bottle. I guess I should have said I’m not new to growing lmao I run large rdwc systems they are not seedlings. They were hungry at 750 ppm

Root system was/ is going to be to big they are already touching the sides of the pot at this point but I am new to coco everyone keep pushing the use cal mag use cal mag atleast to full dose in coco so I did my ppm with the starting ppm of 150 about went to 450 after si and cal mag did just under half of si and full dose of cal mag . Guessing I was right when I didn’t use it at first since I’m in a pre buffered and rinsed mix? Thanks for the fast reply’s

Sounds like you have grow experience but first time going all coco. It holds water and accumulates fertilizer salts. Nutrient lockout can result. I'd flush it thoroughly and cut way back on the supplements as jjgrow suggests. I like good soil plus coco as a 1/3 supplement grow medium for some water retention. That's because I live in AZ with 15% humidity in winter. I pay no attention to ph and fertilizer salesmen. All you need is moderate NPK, photons and good drainage.

I've been growing in coco for decades and I never have to use calmag. Just a basic simple nutrient and tap water.
If you flush like the above poster recommended........do not use plain water.

Recommended by who? There's actual growers with real experience on here that can give you a better answer than any sales reps or recommendations on bottles.

If your seedling looks hungry and being fed 750ppm something is off. It takes time for Coco coir to stack up with buffers and nutrients. Do you feed several times a day with 750ppm?

Thanks!!!! Imagine this is my issue I already have higher cal mag for my nute regime before adding it because of my additives and base so I will cut it out. !

No pots to big staying wet to long would have loved to have started in coco but I didn’t it’s been a shit show . I have been growing on and off since 2006. I have never grown in coco but I did loads of reduce that’s why I transferred into this It I just never thought I could clear the roots out as good as I did I basically got everything out but the roots so I could have used 5/7 gallon pots with coco most likely but after not long the roots have already taken pots over. I am not doing it multiple times a day yet just once every other day to run off. I had tried that and they haven’t acclimated it I am forcing more and more but untill I get roots more spread out I will just kill them. Coco is compacting because of either just the pop size or the pots being so thick they are hard to drain out. They are ac infinity and as super thick

I. Do have some floraflex poor that are 5 gallon plastic with great drainage on the bottom I was planning to move into form the 10 gallon floraflex but as soon as I checked for roots I noticed they had already started filling this pot . By the way they look way way better then they did before transferring into these just the purple and red are bothering me and it’s gained some light bright green and since I am not familiar with coco much I thought it might be an easy answer for someone else.

Plants that size should be fed multiple times a day to run off, regardless of the roots.

10 gallon pots can be an issue if you don’t let them dry out enough, and that can take sometimes up to 7-10 days depending on your lighting schedule, I have grown in 10 gallon pots in the past and I agree with others you don’t need anything that big unless growing outside and you want to be able to move it around to multiple sights.
4 gallon squares work really well…and watering is way easier!
I suggest making them work for their water and make sure drainage is good like the others are saying, it could be the size of the pots with your watering schedule, just some thoughts , best wishes to you!

The OP is in coco..........it should always be saturated. You never let coco dry out.
