You could take it now and not be wrong. Malawi can be occasionally racy and it wouldn’t hurt to see some amber to knock some of that out of it. If you can, take a few buds now and let it go a couple weeks for the rest.

I don't really want narcotic effects. But with Malawi it is probably needed right?

A lot of this stuff is based on personal preference. Don’t expect to absolutely nail a strain on your first run with it. It can take a couple pulls to get it dialed in to where you like it. I agree with the advice above - harvest a bud every week to sample, and then youll know the best window for that plant. Keep clones, run photos, and you get predictable results for the next run.

Malawi is a lot of different things depending on how much you smoke. a few puffs and go about your business, be social, some euphoria. Smoke more and the narcosis starts to creep in, lose time, think about sitting down, laugh, panic, laugh again. Smoke more and don’t get anything done for a couple hours because you’re zonked. It is really an interesting smoke. I’m sure some would disagree but it’s not a great daily smoke but better as an occasional treat. Someone not used to strong weed or an occasional smoker will probably not like it as much as a balanced hybrid.

I think it's part of it idk how early you would need to take it so there's no narcotic edge I wouldn't go too long then if you wanna try to avoid that

Ace malawi? Your getting close, that's where you wanna pull a pure sativa, solid white very little amber. It requires good long cure I just finished a few outdoors, all the ace plants were keepers. I've been smoking it all day actually lol

Mine were outdoors one plant was mid-late oct the others early-mid november the pistols went red bout 3/4 way down then the buds swelled and swallowed em up for the most part leaving very waxy thick skinned solid white trichomes, I been pressing a lot and am do for some ill make some and take pics of the buds. To answer your question wait till the swell ends almost fully white with few amber is my preference. There are different pheno of this line but urs is similar looking. Your gonna be happy with it I'm sure

I have literally been on this mission since that post so here's my ace malawi flowers getting squished they take higher heat very waxy

3.6 off one 3.2 off the other this is both phenotypes, I had one press of 17 grams each shoved it all in one jar tho you'll be able to tell the difference between the 2 after cure, ill smoke this all week.

Looks like real deal man.. . I couldn't handle that smoke at the last picture most probably. Serious stuff man... Well done! I'll cut my girl most probably in 2 days. What do you say?

Maybe some then and some later drag it out that's what I always do mine were big outdoor plants honestly the trichs will develope more I think, they were very waxy thick headed milk white almost that's the color I'd wanna mostly see my earlier flowering plant looked a lot like yours. You won't regret waiting a week
