Planting clones 2 of them, 2 more coming. Then taking two more soon to have a line of 5 clones at a time but theyre not perfectly sync but thats fine. Better to get started asap. 1 clone will be a mother to preserve genetics and not keep creating new generation clones. Need this pheno long as possible.
As you can see I tossed the two porto leche and one kongs krush clone. Hermy issues just not worth the loss.
Its like 10gs sift per plant 2oz each doing 2 at a time and so far shes not a hash dumper. 10% flower rosin so probably 1-3gs dry sift rosin vs 12gs flower rosin. Need to avoid pressing seeded flower it taste bad and is harsher. I dabbed .3gs of it and decided its not worth being frugel over.
So even if I ran it again and got more bud Id just not make more than 6gs rosin from that tent. When an ounce and a half of rosin is possible in that same tent. I feed 12x a day 5 gallon bucket per tent refilled daily. I have to or the reservoir rots so its not worth it.

A years worth a cannabutter. No more butter. Just dry sift and give away free drysift to family and etc. I had trim go bad before so I use it asap so if its pressable I will but Im just gonna give out free sift. It doesnt require curing so its a easy good impressional gift. It only takes a half oz trim per half cup butter so this built up quick.

Fresh coco hand rinsed, soaked in athena ipm 10ml a gallon for an hour. Soaked in calmag twice for 8hrs then just mix with rinsed pearlite. Ready to serve out of the clean rinsed tub for several months. Some times there are little few bits of mold to pick out or no mold at all.
edit to add: I dont flush the calmag out, I just drain the calmag solution out and mix in a tub and plant. The first feed flushes the calmag out. People dont mention this often but its important not to flush ever (other than before harvest if you do). Unless using athena ipm but it says compatible with solution so infact Id never run plain water through it.
Though I spray h2o2 over the top surface and stir it and spray again to kill mold. I worked with lids, whatever it takes to make sure no bugs get in at any point. Simply keep lid on until Im able to see it as I work with it. No bugs.
I twist the fabric bag 20 gallon shut as I drain the athena or calmg and right back to trash bin with lid. Maybe tape the seams shut next time. Its winter but just preparing for spring summer on IPM. While watching for bugs I plant clones the way I did so should not have a single bug in my pots up to harvest.
I rinse the dusty pearlite before mixing. It looks so damn clean. Fresh edibles made just melted and chilled cannachocolate super simple. Another clone rooted waiting on one more then take two more. Watermelon ultra left and right.
Love that plant. I got more beans of it just to make sure Im just all ultra’d up. I know it well and believe I should find the same or better if I lose her inevitably. All about chances and really I just cant find that next strain on my own terms let alone if I needed to restart.
Im gonna pop one bean when Im ready for my last grow just to see how stable the beans are. Its limited release so it may not restock one of these days. Il be the one to keep it alive probably. Its so freakin hard to find that mvp and this one was found by luck.
My first run attempting to find a mvp I already found watermelon ultra it was a freebie. So right off the bat I found her and attempts to find the next strain didnt go well. The WU just seems to be bred well to do what mines doing. Il sleep better at night finding another 20% yielder of potent tastyness.
The porto leche isnt yielding like wtf so I have to grow 3 beans or more to have that? Maybe just worry about crossing that bridge when I get there. Why stress when I got a good 3 yrs if I keep this pheno alive.

The freakin porto leche doesnt dump a damm penny of dry sift. I believe it because flower rosin is 10%. So heres the freakin thing. Can seeds make a plant produce less hash? Then why was the banana candy krush 10% too… No seeds..
Another thing is maybe thats why seeds ruined the PL as if theres no juicy dumping heads its just a little hash and its impurities. Maybe it exageratted the end result but it didnt do that with my watermelon ulra but she dumps hash.
Even though it was only 12.5% due to machine trim maybe just enough hash that it didnt bother? But I hot temp pressed it and for a minute or two too long so it maybe cooked away the seed taste?! I dont freakin know..
Maybe its strain dependent but will say the WU rosin, seeds didnt seem viable even though had enough time to grow. So its not this juicy fertile seed ready to germinate getting crushed releasing whatever oils and etc it releases..
Whats cool though is I just smoked some even though it was dried in 77F and 35rh with a box fam on low over it lol.. Dried to 45rh jar test in just 4 days. It didnt bother my athsma it was smooth enough considering that.
It tastes pretty good amd has a kick. Someone I showed said smells like skunk. To me its like this oreo sage vicks maybe not oreo but for sure sage and vicks. Sometimes its good not to know the parents or you start to imagine smells tastes that arent there. It is something else too it desert like.
So I can just deseed by hand knowing man handling it into shake didnt ruin it. Just try to get it down to little tiny tiny buds that shouldnt have seeds in it so it retains some potency. While making sure no seeds.
Going to just give away most of it Il free, keep a eighth though. I might give it another chance. Maybe the PL is just seeded so it didnt grow hash. Or I can get a seedless pheno and grow it for veriety for family delight.
I know its good let alone if I cured it because my WU is harsh as hell. Even if I cure it. It just doesnt change smells or gets any smoother but better than no effort to cure it. Its forsure really harsh before the cure if it has enough juice to. “cure.”
Then this kongs krush omg I might buy some beans of it. Get the right purp seedless pheno. The PL should be purple too and heres the thing, maybe its pheno dependant the hash yield. That because my PL looks nothing as frosty as another member had that grew PL.
The breeder th seeds had their own site and said the banana candy krush is double than usual hash output. It was seedless but if its pheno dependant and even see that with my next WU pheno I play with.. Pheno dependant then right?? Will see.
Will say usually 10% flower rosin yielders should have dry sift capability thats weird. I know the kongs krush dumps in trim sift and bud trim sift. Its only 15% flower rosin last time though but before I forget Il say.. Il press some seeded KK and see if the rosin is ok since it should have some decent hash deposits.
Maybe that will make ok rosin, the KK. Maybe ut needs a certain amount of hash to dilute the waxes oils that seeds shed. Maybe its case by case dependant you just have to test it and see if its harsh or nasty tasting. Well damn is that all I have to say?! If you read this far thanks for your time.

I think its down to plant tissue, some are harsher than others. Some are meant to cure to become smoother and more smelly tasty. The PL might be one of those. Or just easy to make because it didnt need a cure. I think any weed will make me sick smoking enough of it.
Its been a while since smoking but I truely feel this PL is just much much less harsher than my WU. The BCK is similar to WU same breeder, its just a harsh smoke. Ahhh I got to go or Ill write a book.

Kongs krush 6.6% and to add to my rambles, the seeds dont really mess this flower rosin up. It dont taste too bad even tastes good and Id say not harsh. Its hard to judge right now Im sneezing left and right like I do when I fiddle with weed. Why I love extracts. Sooo wtf.
Should just pick the seeds out and give it away for free as well to family. 1.8gs rosin only 6 days worth for me but 1-2 months worth of smoke for my fam.
Its all free smoke anyway and if I give them this then I dont have to give anything else til I harvest a pound at a time again. So itll keep them sustained along with me while I save everything I got now. Then when the good days come Il load them up a years worth of free smoke and hash for myself.
Il only need to give them a couple oz or a qp next harvest. The last one will get them 12oz. Il give them like a gram dry sift I should have from trim from WU she dumps. So my fam about to be set for a good few months.

When its one or two plants at a time to find new smoke or hash its low maintenance. I might always keep a plant in flower see whats goin on. Maybe just focus on building a stash for a year then low pressure to find new things. Might want to open up a mother tent 3x3.

So yea I think pheno dependant! My last kongs krush was 15% yield same temps 220F a bit high but believe me its ok if you are quick. It can get double the yield out of a strain and maybe better or at the very least might sacrifice some taste.
The KK was like 7% if low temp. It needed a cure or else the rosin was weird tasting. So idk if 7% of that pheno would make it better but probably not. Idk but the watermelon ultra just dumps at 220F and the quality when hand trimmed is just insane.
So if another pheno of KK is 6% now.. That means the banana candy could of done much more. It really was like 12% if you pateintly collect the rest. Maybe it could do 24% yield the banana candy. Maybe it is pheno dependant.

So I guess if your shit seeds maybe flower rosin can work just test a small sample as I had one strain suck ass and one do pretty great. If it does great for a sad situation, thats not a bad way to salvage it. If it yields good that is or else you could always just pick the seeds out.

The plant WU I got 6oz from just the other day was a 8 wk veg plant in floraflex plastic pot 1 gal partially filled. Those clones were yielding a lot but the clones I had in fabric pots 6 wks veg didnt yield shit.
I just switched them to fabric as is, one 8 wk and one 4-5wk so one was ready to flip and the other didnt get very accustomed quickly. So will just let the veg like hell.
The new setup I guess they just veg slower in fabric pots. Theyre 8 wks but look like 6 wk clones I used to do.

I pressed the PL at 220F I dont think I tried that yet but it was even less just like it was with another ggrower.

3oz and 2gs or so of sift. Watermelon ultra, kongs krush and porto leche in that order top to bottom. The PL and KK were de seeded the PL was actually not too bad, the KK was the most seeded.
So many viable seeds temping to pop but I think it will just be a hermy mess. Some other time I will try to do some breeding and do it right. For sure want to learn to make beans as close to the mother as possible to keep a strain I really like, like my WU.
Id want to learn how to make my WU for myself as identical as I had it or better if the breeder stops selling it. Anyway yea so this will last my family 3-6 months while I make more. Maybe they wont know how to use the kief, they smoke small tiny bowls.
Will just tell them if its too hard to use just dump each jar in each bag and mix it up. Thats a cool way to bring back the potency if to de seed. Giving it away for free I got a good deal going on that I do chores for allowance off the electric bill.
When I shut down most of the grow it will eventually turn a profit so just giving it away to spread the love. Its free for me so free for you. Nothing is being sold coppers! Following all laws literally.

BAB Grower Box-fan Above Bar-light. The ultimate enforcer of reducing chances of mold. Spread the word, Im calling it BAB growin’
Its such a bad ass tent now all my tents about to be badass best 400$ upgrade ever! No dead spots theres turbulant airflow literally in every inch of beneath the light. Im gonna grow pounds without sweating it! Just need to dehydrate those fat colas!
Oh and the light itself is waaaay stronger than a ts1000 at same watts! Must be some better diodes in this.

So theyre just over 8wks veg. I think the lower temps and fabric pots making them slower. Maybe veg 1-2 extra wks or raise temps. Then I might lose control of the reservoir that lasts a good while.
Id hate to bucket the tent. Speaking of I think Il buy more buckets and pumps so each plant in flower has its own bucket. For 12x a day feed or it will look like my last 3/3 grow. Then itll be easier filling each bucket just once a day.

Bunch of seeds on the way. Im rocking in house genetics soon about to have like 4 different strains. Then I got some good ol HSC gear in hopes I at least got something else that wont herm. Geared up I guess Im having a bean binge.
I just thought about how many new good strains I could come across to give to family and myself. This watermelon was just a freebie and first run so what are the odds I get another keeper or two.
If I have to turn one of my tents into a one plant show no perpetual so my moms can veg in veg tent.. Worth the veriaty. The potential flavors on top of higher hash yield is cool.
I guess I just had to figure out how to budget if things go wrong and am low in product. Though if I get past a certain point and stay there then it wont be a burden to have space for mons. I really want to open up another 3/3 for them though ugh hope I can.

That clone was 3oz 5 gs to 16.26% flower rosin. I was upset with it at first but just realized its pretty damn good like it was. This is just the lesser good of this pheno hand trimming. Still a 4% increase from machine trim and the taste is amazing.
Sugary kush gas and floral like its been. The sugar is new to me, weird because its actually tasting like banana candy krush now. I dont mind that at all.

Here we have a really nice mother tent. I last said if I made a mother spot it would be 3/3. Well thats what I did. @Farmer's Hat I ended up realizing your suggestion was the next best bet. Any tips on grafting Im all ears.
Im going to make a big bonsai of 9 strains or more. Will take years to fill out.
