New autoflower grow , speedrun seeds / co2 . New system “for the most part “

Speedrun says 65-75 days for acid snow , with boss battle being 75-85 . I’m pretty confident the acid snow will be done by next weekend , or close to it . Still plenty of white hairs , but already sporting lots of milky trichomes , nothing amber so far . very very dense buds ..I’m going to let the current reservoir run close to dry , then detach the 2 acid snow , from the system - run a T fitting off the main feed line to the remaining 2 boss battle , and I’ll top water the acid snow until finish with recharge and ph water only .
Boss battle is eating insane amounts of nutrients still , and already showing some fade , at 1700ppm - I upped it to 1900 today - my tap water is 400ppm , so hopefully the fade is just a lack of nutrients “although seems kinda crazy with how high my ppm is “

I had outdoor plants that required 2000ppm for the last 3 weeks and never once showed any signs of burn

the picture is of the boss battle fade I’m referring to .
If anyone has a guess as to what it is , lmk . I’ve added epsom a salt/ calmag , I’ve heated my tent up better , and I’ve also maintained 6.0-6.1 ph throughout the entire grow .

My kind x750 decided to not make good contact on the on/off switch , and fried . Now I’m in the most crucial part of my grow ; and my only light is down . I’m going to try to bypass the switch later today - as it really isn’t needed considering the light is triggered on/off by my ac infinity controller , I have two amazon led’s , in the tent now - king “3000s” but they really draw 530w a piece . I can immediately tell the coverage is nowhere near as good , but the intensity seems to be there , and should be good enough for now till I can get the kind back up and running “really looking forward to seeing the difference UV/IR targeted spectrum makes towards trichome production .
It could be worse ,I could have no light . I should’ve kept my fluency spydr 2i 630w lights …IMG_0403.jpegIMG_0402.jpeg

Good news ! After some very frustrating cutting , splicing , soldering - removing and repeating - I thought I had it . Plugged it in and popped the breaker .. stumped , I sat down and smoked a bowl - looked at the switch I bypassed - and there was the tiniest sliver of solder bridging two connections - I chipped it out , said a quick prayer - plugged the kind back in and boom - it was like Florida sunshine on my porch ! It’s almost lights out time , so I’ll be putting it back in , in the morning - but super excited to have a higher quality light back in there - as it’s my best auto grow ever with autopots !

They’re definitely happy to be back under the big light . This one specific acid snow in the back , is gonna be some phenomenal smoke , this will be thr 3rd plant of this strain I’ve harvested - and while the first was good smoke , and the front left looks to be identical to my first one , the back right - is so sticky and frosty . Extremely dense long fat buds - that smell extremely unique and loud right now .

instead of flushing , I actually upped the potassium and phosphorus - and total PPM . The tap water is 400ppm , and I’m in the 1900-2000 range . I’m hoping I’m right and the big two plants just need a lot more food - as the acid snow are dark green and extremely healthy on the current feed schedule .,IMG_0415.jpegIMG_0412.jpegIMG_0410.jpegIMG_0411.jpegIMG_0413.jpeg

So I’ve came to the realization , that all the horse s$&@ about autos eating way less , is absurdly not true . I’ve been feeding them what I thought was heavy - for the past 2-3 weeks - but with the added co2 and light intensity , it’s obvious that they have needed more . I decided to raise my EC from 2.5-2.7 upto 3.0. The outer lying areas of my tent , have shown no fade whatsoever - where as the inside is fading from the light intensity at the center . This refill , I skipped canna A , went with canna B , Epsom salts , and earth juice bloom master , with canna pk13/14 . I’m sitting at 2000ppm , and the plants are hammering nutes down extremely fast .

if you look in the pictures - the only fading occurs in the center , and the outside acid snow in back right , and front left corner - are dark dark green , next to no fade , and very close to finishing .
Once the acid snow are harvested , I’ll be hammering these monster boss battles with 3.5-4.0 , loads of potassium / phosphorus , calcium , magnesium , and tons of co2/light . I think that’ll be the ticket to a very good harvest , with high quality flower , and very good yield . IMG_0418.jpegIMG_0417.jpegIMG_0415.jpegIMG_0416.jpeg

Few more pictures from today . Boss battle is way behind the acid snow but it’s starting to get extremely skunky and sour , vs sweet/ fruity when it first started flowering .
Slowly thinning everything out to where I’m happy . Did spot some WPM down deep in the back right acid snow , so I’ll be hitting it with lost coast plant therapy 2x a week , as well as the others when the lights are out .
Can’t believe I’m seeing WPM issues with 40-45% humidity .. only gonna get worse the further into flower I get IMG_0426.jpegIMG_0425.jpegIMG_0427.jpegIMG_0428.jpegIMG_0430.jpegIMG_0429.jpegIMG_0433.jpegIMG_0432.jpegIMG_0431.jpeg

So I’m dialed in at 3.5EC , which seems high to me - but the fading has slowed tremendously and the plants have darkened up a ton .

still giving a pile of Epsom salts , roots exceleratur gold , pk 13/14 and canna A+B .
The acid snow should be finished up in about a week . One of the boss battles smells like skunk / dead bodies , the other smells like straight diesel fuel ! I’m excited for both , as skunk is my favorite flavor, and hard to find nowadays .

everyday I remove some foliage / to try and promote more light getting to bud sites . During the day I leave the tent open - as the humidity in the tent will be much higher with it shut . Seems to be helping a lot , and should keep any WPM at bay . Lights off every 3-4 days spray with lost coast plant therapy . I did find some wpm in one of the acid snow , that was in deep - where light wasn’t penetrating . I removed the stuff that had it , and put a second fan underneath , pointing directly into the jungle - and it’s all but vanished now . I really can’t wait for the acid snow to be done , so I can reconfigure the two boss battles and spread some branches - to fill the canopy

So after some further investigating, I believe the reason I’m fading early , is because of high vpd - which in turn closed the stomata and caused them to start to absorb less ..

I turned humidity up , and temps up - got my
Vpd dialed to 1.3 and they’re insanely turning darker green , and starting to pray after only an hour . I added extra fans as well to keep air circulating , and will spray with lost coast plant therapy every 2-3 days just for preventative measure .

Yeah they were definitely way too dry ! Bouncing back and drinking my reservoir insanely fast . I moved vpd upto 1.5 which is 83 degrees at 60% . At night I run warm with dehumidifier on full blast and fans cranking. 70-73 degrees

the white hairs everywhere are a beautiful sight to see , as a lot of the flowers were turning orange rapidly, which would’ve made for some severely undersized flower had I not bumped up my humidity and EC .

Now they’re sucking down 3.5EC at 6.0ph , and burning 5-6 gallons per day .
The terps are really starting to shine on the two separate phenotypes of boss battle .

Day 75 , made one more change. I Upped my ph to 6.5 , they seem to be taking it well , as well as the added humidity and temps . I’m gonna say 85-90 days on the acid snow , 95-105 on the boss battle .
Just a guess . The boss battle is really stacking on mass now - these are gonna be some really nice colas . The smell of the front right boss battle is diesel fuel , the largest boss battle in the back left smells of skunk/rotten meat with a hint of fruit/diesel .

Day 77 , buds are starting to get very loud , very frosty , and hardening up . The fade is kicking into overdrive , I’m super excited to reach the finish line ! The smaller of two boss battles smells like candy/diesel , the large plant has a stronger lemon smell , with heavy skunk . IMG_0563.jpeg

First acid snow is finished , just chopped . Tried to spread it out a little bit in there but the boss battles are just so large it’s hard to gain much space . I still have to clean the tent out . I did thin out a ton of larf and smaller branches from the boss battles / - allowing more airflow

So after cutting the nutrients and lighting back to next to nothing , they immediately started uptaking insane amounts of water . I did have a few buds that were heavily amber in the center that I clipped. I tried getting a picture but it was too dark for regular , and too light for flash . This was the best I got before having to leave . Wicked frosty . Can’t wait to blaze the boss battle !

The lower temps / lights / and nutrients are really stacking on the frost . This boss battle is turning out to be phenomenal!! IMG_0657.jpegIMG_0654.jpegIMG_0655.jpeg

The temperature drop , and taper too just water , along with ir/uv heavy spectrum , has been treating them well , they’re packing on trichomes , and getting seriously dense . The first boss battle in the pictures is close , the second is a week or two behind . I’m gonna inspect with my loop tonight and see how close the first is but I feel it’s got at least another eeek to go . Taking a little longer than expected but well worth the wait !image.jpgimage.jpg

Some more close ups . Man they’re packing on some wicked trichomes ! I’d say 1 week tops on the smaller boss battle , 2-3 for the other . I’ve been feeding recharge almost daily , with low temperature , and it’s made a massive difference . They’re definitely finishing up strong . I want to wait till he bigger of them is a little closer , then they will get their 48 Hours of darkness . The smaller plant will have decreased slightly in thc content but will be more of a narcotic night time smoke .
