I've got stinky blueberry here I was thinking it'd be a shame not to cross it to something.
It's really sweet/berry smelling, sickly sweet might describe it better. What's the smell on the blueberry ? Never had any blueberry line before I'm just thinking blue jam smells

Cheers bud, I'm looking forward to getting some of the seeds started just to see how they look, smell and taste!Good stuff sounds good man glad to see it's working out for you
Well it's not a bad thing means you at least know how your stuff behaves under less high power lighting from the get go doing it under t5s cuts the leccy bill tooCheers bud, I'm looking forward to getting some of the seeds started just to see how they look, smell and taste!
I might have mentioned it previously but in future i want to make any crosess under t5s or ever under the canopy that's the reason for the size.

Aye its been interesting I'm enjoying the learning.
I think that just reverses the plant to produce pollen then you put that pollen onto the same female plant to make an s1I don’t know much about the breeding side of things so excuse my ignorance.
What would happen if I made a clone and then put some silver on it to produce seeds. Does it work that way or just for the pollen sacks?
And then if I took that pollen and pollinated another clone with it. Will the seeds vary much?
cheers!
That looks like the mendo p don't itIt's really sweet/berry smelling, sickly sweet might describe it better.
I'd need to check dates but it was barely 2wks after re potting, i was sitting in my tent with a joint and a cup of tea just enjoying the moment and noticed the smell, my heart leapt up with excitement of it being so early and smelling so strong and sweet, my only concern is it just being sweet and not actually blueberry like.

It's not a yeilder but if it's worth it I'll cross it to something with a bit bulk, blueberry twist is decent yielding blueberry, I've a handful of various blueberry I can maybe cross?
Thanks man, and how much variation will there be in S1 seeds?I think that just reverses the plant to produce pollen then you put that pollen onto the same female plant to make an s1
I'm not sure I've got no experience I've just listened to a lot of podcast and I think that the process of making s1sThanks man, and how much variation will there be in S1 seeds?
You better off using two cuttings of the same plant then reversing one as the pollen donor and pollinating the other one with it Vs just reverse and hope it pollinates the same plant and S1 is like a f2 in that they will vary alot bud how much depends on the lineage of what your working with to begin with the more simple and stable the less spread you will see in theory anywayThanks man, and how much variation will there be in S1 seeds?
That's what I meant I just read it back and I've worded it wrong .... same plant I meant as a diff cutting but same genetics ... I'm not the sharpest tool in the shedYou better off using two cuttings of the same plant then reversing one as the pollen donor and pollinating the other one with it Vs just reverse and hope it pollinates the same plant and S1 is like a f2 in that they will vary alot bud how much depends on the lineage of what your working with to begin with the more simple and stable the less spread you will see in theory anyway
Cheers Conor! It’s the blueberry muffin I’ve got atm, it’s an F9 I believe and from 2nd week in it smells like blueberry syrup! Got the muffin like smell as well which is what I’m looking for as well. You better off using two cuttings of the same plant then reversing one as the pollen donor and pollinating the other one with it Vs just reverse and hope it pollinates the same plant and S1 is like a f2 in that they will vary alot bud how much depends on the lineage of what your working with to begin with the more simple and stable the less spread you will see in theory anyway
Sounds great man and yeah that's an option long as you can keep at least one branch pest free it isn't bad for vigour either they do say getting em under the sun now n then is good for emCheers Conor! Was just hoping to capture it cause I don’t usually have a tent going all year to keep a mother.
was debating keeping a clone outdoors in the summer then take a snip and grow it indoors in the winter and do it that way. Seems like end of September is when they start to flower here
Fair doos bud easy done lolThat's what I meant I just read it back and I've worded it wrong .... same plant I meant as a diff cutting but same genetics ... I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed
