The Algebra of genetic history in names.

I've gotten as far as female is always first: "Kush X NorthernLights," I understand one or both parents may be a cross: (Kush X Northern Lights) X (Sour Diesel X Skunk)

What I don't know how to decode is the long string, without parens. For example, here is the description on Bodhi's Orgasmic Hash Plant:

Napali OG x Bubba Kush x Blueberry x Train Wreck x Sensi Star x 88G13HP

If I go to JBCSeeds it says:

MAMA: Napali OG x Bubba Kush x Blueberry x Train Wreck x Sensi Star
PAPA: 88G13HP

Which still leaves me wondering. Was Mama a cross of Napali OGG and Bubba Kush with another cross, that of Blueberrry and Train Wreck, but then what happened to Sensi Star? One can have a cross of two plants, or there can be a cross as either Mama or Papa (three plants) or both. (Four plants). But how can you have five in a cross? Or does the Algebra of names reveal more specific history?

Sometimes names mean nothing as they have no relevance others do from looking at it Nepali og to sensi star seems the lineage from the mother and adding the male in it be 7 cos hashplant and g13 are two strains themselves once your breaking it down that way so yeah sometimes the names might point to a reason or point of origin others are named so cos some one thought hey that sounds cool pretty much I say fuck names what matters is what's in it and how's it smoke the names just a reference point or something stupid to catch yer eye occasionally the have some relevance but not always

The mama is 'Orgasmatron' which is Nepali OG x Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder is some combo of Sensi Star x Train Wreck x Blueberry x Bubba Kush

There has been so much interbreeding and cross breeding of cultivars over the last 20 years, most plants are creations anymore with very little true heritage of the original variants they came from. Genetics have played a huge part in the upgrading of cultivars for disease resistance, mold resistance, increased THC or other compounds, increased bud production, side branching and stress reducing (autos) as well as for drought tolerance, humid and non humid climates, it's almost impossible to find a true Sativa or Indica pure variant. They are there, but they are still crosses of something. The ones that really are gone are the old school cultivars, unless someone has a sack of seeds they have been sitting on since 1970 or so! I see them advertised, but read the heritage if they'll show the genetics, they aren't what once was.
I was sent this by someone who is trying to find some old school genetics in SE Asia. They are looking far off road to natives who still may have not had their original product touched by modern genetics. It does show how quickly things can disappear, but hope that somewhere an original is stil around.

There's plenty in se just go where most western people do not Thailand is maybe a bit harder these days granted but most of laos is still as good as ever though
