I always thought Leon Panetta would have been great,he's 86 now though, missed his window, had the experience, smarts, common sense, demeanor, and was pretty impeccable, though in today's world I'm sure there'd be a way to slander/discredit him also, just make it up baby and repeat, repeat, repeat those alternative facts. WELL,not gonna happen now,2028,I'm thinking Andy Beshear,he's young, from the heartland(no coastal elite tag that the R's can run with),is pop. in a red state, this guy could be the ticket, that's all I've got now.Joe Manchin is too old and the more left leaning part of the party hates him anyway. But either way it has to be someone who is moderate to have ANY appeal to those who sat out, just that alone (bringing those who did not vote back to the fold is a W and would have been a W in 2024.The Fed. govt. needs reform but THIS is bizarre on a domestic level,36 T debt, gutting medical research, science and tech, reeming all fed. depts. and all this that's targeted is in totality 10% of the budget and yet those savings are to fund massive tax cuts benefiting the RICH and ADDING 2 Trillion to the debt, not deducting from it. Foreign policy wise to think that in one month the safest place to wear a American flag hat presently would be in Russia pretty much sums that up.
