Which light ?

I currently use a 250w Hps in a small tent - 60x60x120cm

I want to switch out to an LED unit but I can't decide which is best ,

Or

Any help welcomed
Thanks

Those are better suited to a 90 x 90, probably won't fit in a 60 x 60.
Here's a good one, Viparspectra XS1500 Pro

They are both on 60cm square , they are designed for my size tent ,
Thank you I'll take a look ...

should be fine, its dimmable in 25% incraments, so you can turn it down to suit your grow space, plus, running it on lower power will increase its life span. bonus

Is it though ?

Currently running 250w hps

120 cm tall x 3/4 plants

A 300w LED, for arguments sake, has a light output roughly equivelent to about 500w HPS, depending on the quality of the LEDs etc.
Thats why LED is popular, it's a lot more efficient on power consumption.

SO first make sure it fits, and second, make sure to get one with a dimmer dial so you can sial it down a bit when plants a small etc.

At 300w They are designed for a 3x3ft tent, though that's the first time I've seen a manufacturer (spiderfarmer) say otherwise.

"The Infinity 300W 2.7 Pro from Omega is a is a stunningly effective LED grow light that’s ideally suited to the vast majority of indoor gardens. Designed for areas of around 100cm x 100cm"

A couple things I go by, when choosing a light. It makes it simple.

This, is also assuming one is attempting to Maximize the potential space of the enclosure, with the optimal recommended amount of light.

Also, 1 thing to think about, when running high/optimal amounts of light, is to have the most fresh air exchange possible. And this cannot be stressed enough. Growing in a small enclosure, or any enclosure, and not be able to have access to frest air, constantly, will greatly hamper progress, and in many cases, cause stress and/or deficiencies/imbalances. I myself grow in a big, open attic, with huge ventilation. It may as well be outside, but, as of now, im only using about a 7 x 7 area, but only 4 x 4 for growing and a 1000w /MassMedicalStrains-6000k Halide, but also have used other lights, and have knowledge. Attic is probably 1500 sq/ft. and as high as 12ft ceilings. Also insulated.

But, when Gavita came out with the 1700e, it was advertised as being a direct replacement for a 1000w HID, in a 4 x 4 area.
This light was 645w. So, consider while LED are a bit more efficient, now, vs then, it aint much, and doesnt alter the basic formula.

So, basically 645w, for 16 sq/ft, is about 40.3w sq/ft, for maximum results.

So, your area is 4 sq/ft. 4 sq ft x 40.3= 161.2w.

Next thing to consider, is Spectrum. I myself, like a spectrum, as close to the sun, as possible, which is between 5000k-6500k, but few, if any LED cover that spectrum, and many would only use that spectrum, for veg, but, the Gavita, is around 5000k spectrum. Most/Many like 3000k which works fine, as does 2100k HPS/Hortilux in particular. Many things work, I just like 5000k-6000k. Which is what the sun is.

So, Id look into some kind of 160w-200w LED,. Or run a more powerful one, dialed down.

This one easily fits into a 60cm x 60cm area.
Id look into the HLG 200 Rspec®

Spider farmer seems more forthcoming with their data, diodes used, spectrum, par map etc.
I couldn't find anything for the omega light and my internet security doesn't want me on their website saying it's not secure. It's obviously a Photontek sq300w pro, aka the Lumatek ATS 300 Pro in Europe, knock off, but at that price its not likely that Omega is using the top bin Osram and Lumiled diodes that the Photontek/Lumatek stuff uses. I wouldn't spend money on it without at least seeing a par map.
