Around 30% of federal employees are veterans. This is significantly higher than the percentage of veterans in the general civilian workforce, which is around 5%.
So all these federal job cuts effect veterans at a much higher rate. So much for the republican BS about taking care of our veterans.

My Wife and I watched half of it and had to turn it off. It was when he was in the middle of peddling up real life story props who we happen to have a lot of empathy for. It was pretty gnarly. And yes, gnarly is antiquated, but it fits the bill.

Disastrous tariffs 2.0,tanking Wall st. and resulting in China saying they are down w/any war we want and offending our Canadian friends as never before w/these tariffs coupled w/51st state lunacy. And !/2 the FKN Congress applauding every word of his phony easily debunked claims. ALL this made possible by Americans who bought his BS claim to lower prices on DAY ONE or felt sympathy for highly dubious assassination attempts that made him a Messiah in his mind. ONLY 3 YRS. AND 10 MOS. TO GO ON THIS SURREAL RIDE OF MISERY.

It's all revenge tour, with a "make billionaires richer" sideline. Unfortunately, the revenge is on the"deep state", which is known otherwise as government beaurocracy, which is just, the government, that serves the people. So, instead of surgically removing waste, fraud and abuse, the chainsaw is removing folks without determining any merit to removing them.
Then the foreign diplomacy. Allying with Russia I would think would be a problem with a majority of Americans. Retreating from, and abandoning an ally during a hot war will make other nations less willing to work with the USA, trust being destroyed.
Then starting a trade war with its closest ally, Canada has got their back up vowing not to buy anything American where possible, and traveling to any destination OTHER than the states. Canadians love America, and Americans, but being continuously insulted by the 51st state remarks, and calling our prime minister the governor pisses people off more and more, every time it's uttered. ( Which i saw from press briefings as recently as yesterday.)
