Examples of GOP Leadership

Utah senator announces he’s leaving the Republican party, joining Utah Forward Party
‘I don’t have to be part of the crazy-making anymore,’ Sen. Dan Thatcher
Instead, he said he’ll be joining the Utah Forward Party — a centrist party that has the slogan “Not left. Not right. Forward.”

Standing alongside a handful of Forward Party leaders, Thatcher said he and his wife had been discussing the change for “a really, really long time.” But he said the Utah Legislature’s 2025 session (which has included legislation focused on facilitating the Trump administration’s deportation goals, restricting voting by mail, banning LGBTQ+ flags from schools and public property, and more) was the final straw

He'll still vote MAGA.

Flush the Orange / Grow the Green
1. Renewed public investments in education and infrastructure.
2. Reconfigure SS so benefits are sustainable even in a decreasing population.
3. Cut military spending through renegotiating supply contracts, and stopping unneeded stockpiling especially of nuclear arms.
4. Cut off military support to monarchs, dictators and human rights abusers
5. Drug policy reform centered on recovery and harm reduction not punitive policy
6. Stopping the arming of cartels with US Weapons

When exactly did our nation become so seemingly OBLIVIOUS to the term "CONFLICT OF INTEREST"??? Between Musk having absolutely no Q/A w/the Senate/House nor his posse, w/his BILLION $$$ Fed. contracts and having FULL access to all confidential/classified Fed Govt. servers along w/opaque helpers of his??? WTF is this??As if none of his posse w/off the charts tech knowledge won't be recruited, approached by foreign intelligence post DOGE or God forbid already compromised. Not to mention Trump himself, who has made NO effort to even hide the fact that he's open for business on a personal level. Never experienced a sitting Pres. who has his own version of Amazon up and running while in office.I just can't fathom how reckless this nation has become concerning security/espionage. This shit going on would be unheard of pre-2016, it takes one's breath away how oblivious and utterly careless we've become, and the precedents set are more than alarming.

The money spent lobbying to influence/corrupt is ridiculously out of hand, the Church's golden yrs. for being a cash cow for taxation have passed as church's have struggled, closed, consolidated but really WHY are they exempted, the Catholic church was a powerhouse 50 years ago.
Concerning NAT. DEBT, I'm so sick of the BS on fed taxation that how about shared pain measures to balance the budget, get rid of pennies and round off to 0'and 5's w/ Fed govt getting the resulting cents on purchases across the board. That and maybe a 1% Fed sales tax would bring in big dollars applied across the nation and be relatively painless.

Under our current tax plan if we simply removed the RI exemption 90+% of community houses of worship would still not pay taxes as they would easily qualify as a charitable organization or non profit, as you can see in my other bullets I want to invest in and strengthen community resources not inhibit them. However televangelist, mega churches and cult like organizations rake in 10s of billions annually and not only do they not get taxed on that income but the money coming in gets give a tax credit to the donor so not only are they not contributing but they are actively detracting from public revenues.
