What . .do . . .you. . .think . . .should. . .be. . .added. . .to. . .your. . plant?

So there is an near infinite amount of suggestions as to what should go into your plant. now barring CO2 and UV application; what ingredients do you think you should add to you plants.

. . .break it down by the simplest of ingredients .

. . .for example to help your plant grow we give it high N less P and K for Bloom we give it a high p less k and even lesser k (1:4:2 ratio), the micros should be incorporated as well.

. . .but, other than the nutrients needed to to grow the plant there are also

Mycorrhizal Fungi, ---not my words
Mychorriza (or mychorrhiza) is a mutually beneficial association between plant roots and fungi. Mychorrizal fungus enters into the roots with its spores, developes and then covers the surface of the roots with its mycelia. The mycelia, reaching epidermis (outer layer), provide water and minerals from outside to inside of the roots and organic matter from inside to outside. Mychorrizal partnerships can be seen in a wide variety of plants from forest trees to field plants.

. . . Humic Acid ---- not my words this is what humic and fulvic acid are for regarding plants---
Plant bio-stimulants are materials that promote plant growth. The importance of bio-stimulants lies in their ability to promote hormonal activity in plants. Plant hormones are chemical communicators, or agents, which help regulate a plant’s development and its response to its surrounding environment. Bio-stimulants also promote antioxidant production in plants which, in turn, reduces “free radicals”. Free radical molecules result from stress such as drought, heat, ultraviolet light and herbicide use. Free radicals are damaging because they are strong oxidizing agents which damage lipids, proteins and DNA within plants cells.
Antioxidants are metabolites and enzymes which seek out free radical molecules and protect plants from damage. They include lipid soluble substances like vitamin "E" and beta-carotene and water soluble materials such as vitamin C and various enzymes.

Sea Kelp has also been found to increase plant hardiness and resistance to adverse environmental conditions, such as early frost, extreme heat and lack of moisture. Our Kelp Help Liquid Sea Kelp Fertilizer is an organic storehouse of over 60 naturally occurring major and minor nutrients and amino acids. The growth promoting substances in liquid sea kelp fertilizer include (Auxims, Cytokinins, Gibberellins) enhance plant development, color and vigor.

I'm giving superthrive and humic acid a go this first time round for me. The label on the humic says to use 3 times per cycle. Also using a product sold at my local hydro shop called smart tea http://www.smartwp.com/teaqualitygrow.html
Okay so i went on the site and i couldn't find what the ingredients are so i googled it here it is. . . .

Smart tea super grow. . . . INGREDIENTS:

Proprietary blend of natural and organic nutracueticals, botanicals, soil bacteria’s and fungi, complex sugars and proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, antioxidants using innovative successive fermentation processes. S.T.Q.G. is concentrated and of commercial quality.

. . . . .that's what the info says. it does seem that they pack a punch in their mix. .

Zonked . . . have you noticed a significant difference?

One product I KNOW works: The guys who make the flower enhancer called "blossom blood" makes a veg booster called "veg booster" lol. Its blue not red.

That shit works if your veg plants are in a dormant stage. They will explode. Be careful though as they may stretch to much. I never noticed any difference with or without the blossom blood though.

Don't forget Epsom salts or Cal Mag. If your leaves are curling up a bit on the serrated edges...u need Epsom salts.

epsom salts. . . .good thinking. i forgot that. good one. here is the info on that.

not my words

. . . .Chemically, Epsom salts is hydrated magnesium sulfate (about 10 percent magnesium and 13 percent sulfur). Magnesium is critical for seed germination and the production of chlorophyll, fruit, and nuts. Magnesium helps strengthen cell walls and improves plants' uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur. Sulfur, a key element in plant growth, is critical to production of vitamins, amino acids (therefore protein), and enzymes.

Calcium and the other nutrients are explained here. . . http://www.agr.state.nc.us/cyber/kidswrld/plant/nutrient.htm#Calcium
