any1 know if i should use this 'seasol' on my plants
here is the info

Active Constituent: Seaweed extract which contains naturally occurring growth stimulants, potassium and trace elements. Equivalent to not less then 700g/litre of fresh seaweed. Seasol is a plant conditioner, not a nitrogen based fert. It contains virtually no nitrogen or phosphorus.

If i do use it, then how much should i use? all it says on the back is "9 litres diluted mixture covers approx. 2-4 square metres. what about three pots?

Yeah, use it, it's good for them. It's not a NPK fertiliser it's more like a growth stimulator for the plant as well as the soil microbes. It also helps relieve stress at transplanting time. I use Maxicrop Seaweed Extract at a rate of about 0.5 mil per Litre (2-2.5mil per gallon) for both foliar feeding and root feeding, but I don't know how yours differs from mine in it's concentration.

Use it when you repot and once a week or so as a foliar spray.

i use nitrozyme, it is similar but it has 0 4 4, like babygrow says, folier feed. good for clones...

ive been using seasole powerfeed on ma baby almost every day and it loves the stuff. i use 1 cap to 2wo litres and just tip it around the plant.... sometimes chucking in a stronger dose....

i also wait till the plants established berfore starting to use the stuff tho.... ive only folar feeded once this season so far

also it says its a rich source of nitrogen and potasium..
and id have to say i agree it has made ma babies boom for years now.....
your dose may vary depending on your soil... i also rrely use other fertilizers... and believe it or not a dose of miracle grow here n there keeps em looking beautiful...

i used to use other chemies, and experiment with all diff kindsa shit... and to be honest i have found ways to get just a good results from cheaper shit.

a little extra nitrogen at the right times dont hurt at times during veg and more potasium every once and a while dueung flower (maybe some pot ash if i dont have none handy....

i have used steroids, and plant hormones as well... also a bit sick of it and now i just try to grow simple kick arse ganja...

by the way this is all for outdoors im talking here

Hey again Jester
after a few PMs from you, and a few reading sessions on chems, im starting to agree with you.

how would you suggest i go for an indoor hydro coco top feed dripper run to waste setup?

i figure that powerfeed and seasol is fine for veg (maybe humic/fulvic too)
molasses for late flower as an additive
but i would need more P/K for flowering.

any thoughts ?

yup you seem to have it pretty correct.

umm as for the coco it really is best to use ferts made for coco but not entirely necissary. the reason being chelation and what the plant actually gets to uptake and what it doesnt. meaning salt buildups and chemicals attatched/bonded to the coco namely Ca (again dont quote me on that one lol)

i dont agree with the use of molasses sorry its too much like the old sugar water trick to me. though i must note that the science is there so if you like it go for it

and yes you will need to use more p&k for flowering though the potassium should outnumbber the phos. tbth i dont like the ratios of some ferts so i mix and match or make my own hell an easy way would be to get some pk and add a tiny amount of potassium.

dont take that to much to heart as making your own ferts isnt exactly that easy to get the desired results and making them from scratch can be a bitch most of the time unless organic of course but that can be difficult too.

im fairly sure i answered your question (sorry im tired lol)
basically when working with coco its best to use fertilizers that are meant for use in coco as they are made to suit that environment, factors like what will bond to your medium are taken into consideration and worked out untill perfected. basically with coco ferts the plants use most of it and very little gets attatched to the coco helping avoid ph fluctuations, salt build ups, they contain all the macronutrients plants need etc.

that being said you can still use normal ferts in a hydro setup with coco and get awsome results you just gotta get your shit down pat and you will get some awsome plants.

the seasol will cover some/perhaps most macronutrients but i have a feeling not all.

anyhoo ill read this tomorrow and correct anything if i can lol. but i should have been fairly close.
